Alexander’s Pov

The next morning, I got a call pertaining to a billionaire’s conference and business event. This was a major event that required that I travel out of the city for some days.

A deep sigh escaped my lips the minute I dropped the call and turned my gaze to Amelia who was sleeping peacefully on the bed.

My heart was filled with great worry and at such, I decided to keep the event aside, even if I knew that it was going to be down on me and my company.

Amelia woke up much later, with a small frown on her face.
