As soon and dinner ended we headed up to our room. I was anxious about whatever it was he wanted to talk to me about. I was a little bit impatient as well. I knew it had to do with the rogue camp and the safety of everyone was a concern to me.

“do you want to start unpacking your things?“ he asked as he moved towards my boxes. I was frustrated by this but I also knew it must be hard for him. His entire pack might be in danger.

“I had a conversation with your dad and my dad after the warriors and beta jacks update.” He started. I looked over at him, waiting for him to continue. I didn’t want to push him so I continued to unpack the box I was working on.

“It seems as though the rogues are creating some kind of army. There are about 20 of them right now and I guess they have men out there recruiting more.” He said. I knew there was more and I knew I wasn’t going to like it.

“It turns out they are working for a vampire, which one we don’t know yet but we will figure it out.” He continued on. I stilled at this remembering the incident at the mall with my grams. I had completely forgot about it until now. Which meant I knew where the rest of this was going and that I wasn’t going to like it.

“Apparently they are looking for someone and your dad and my dad believe it is you.” He said, finally looking up at me. Haven whimpered in my head.

“Me? Why do they want me?” I asked. I knew he didn’t know the answer to that so it was more of a rhetorical question so I was a little surprised when he responded.

“For your powers.“ he said.

“But I don’t have any powers.” I was confused by this. Sure my wolf was bigger than normal, came at a younger age and was a rare color but that didn’t mean I had powers, did it?

“You do. They will not appear until you have been marked.” He said. I just looked at him in shock. Haven was confirming what he said in my head. I was going to be having a conversation with her later about why she didn’t tell me any of this sooner but for now I needed to focus on my mate.

“Your dad also said that the only way we will be able to beat the vampires is for you to come into your powers. My mom is contacting her witch friend who trained your mom and my dad has a vampire friend he is contacting as well.” he explained. I didn’t know what to think. It was all so overwhelming. I then told him about what happened at the mall that day with my grams.

“Well that just confirms that it is you they are after.” He stated. So by being there I was putting the entire pack in danger. I didn’t know what to do or think. I was beginning to have a hard time breathing. I felt my heart beating faster, my eyes began to get teary, I was shaking. Mark came over immediately and pulled me into his arms.

“Don’t worry my angel. We will figure this out and get past this. You are the Luna of this pack and we will all protect you.” He said as he rubbed my back. he kissed my forehead.

“I have put the whole pack in danger just by being here.” I whispered, trying not to cry.

“Shhh my angel. You are my mate. We were having issues with rogues before you even came here and you don’t think like that. We will get through this. I will be by your side every step of the way.” He said, trying to help calm me down. It did help some. Then I remembered what he said about my being marked.

“You said I need to be marked in order to get my powers and that it is the only way we will beat the vampires.” I said to him, looking up into his eyes. He looked back down at me lovingly.

“yes my angel but I promised you that I would not push you into doing anything you are not ready for and I want you to want it, not do it just because you feel it’s your duty.” He responded back.

“I do want it though. You’re my mate and I want the bond to be completed.” I whispered, looking away shyly. He put his finger under my chin and gently moved my head so I was looking him in the eye.

“My angel. You do not need to ever by shy with me about what you want.“ he whispered at me. I was a little sensitive about the whole marking each other because of what had happened to me before.

“I am worried that you do not want to mark me. My previous mate did not want to mark me. He always had excuses about wanting it to be the right time and all that but I guess it was so he could get away with cheating.” I told him. I saw many emotions pass through his eyes from anger to sadness to understanding.

“I would have marked you the moment I met you if I had been able too. I want nothing more than to be able to mark you and complete the bond Between us.” He whispered to me. I felt Like there were butterflies in my stomach when he said that. I reached up and kissed him gently. He responded by kissing my gently back. we remained like that, just standing there and kissing each other for a moment when I decided to make the kiss more passionate, to let him know I wanted him. I put my arms around his neck, fingers in his hair, gently tugging. I broke the kiss and started kissing his neck, gently nibbling the spot where I would mark him. He groaned at that and then grabbed me by my ass and lifted me up. He pressed me up against the wall and pushed his body against mine, smashing his lips into mine. I could feel his erection through our clothes. He grinded against me, causing me to moan and the sensation of the friction it was causing. He kissed my neck and the side of my face, gently tugging at my earlobe with his teeth before bring his mouth back to mine. He held me up against the wall with one hand while reaching his other hand between us and up my shirt. He moved my bra up and started fondling my nipple which made me moan with pleasure. I had no idea the pleasure my body could feel in so many different places and different ways. He pulled his hand out from under my shirt snd set me down, pulling my shirt off and ripping my bra off with his claws. I had no idea how much that one movement could turn me on.
