Unbeatable Fighter

        "Kim Shin! Kim Shin!" the audience shouted to the muscular and stocky man in the middle of the boxing ring.

             They were watching the Final Fight of the best fighter in Anyang between the axe Kim Shin and the big man Park Se Hyuk. They fight and beat each other making some bruises and blood come out of their bodies. In the final attack, Shin strikes a vital blow that makes Se Hyuk fall backwards.

          Kim Shin's supporters shouted enthusiastically watching their mainstay fighter win the battle. It was his victory for so many times. Shin has won so many boxing battles, karate and also wrestling. He would always win against anyone when it had to do with the fight, that's why the people around him called him as "the axe of Anyang". Anyang is the birthplace of Kim Shin. 

            He is so famous among the fighters, not only around Anyang but also in all corners of the country. People even used his name to scare the others, if they said that they had a relationship with Kim Shin, then no one would dare to fight him.

            "chh... you won again" said Se Hyuk as the two of them had left the boxing ring and changed their clothes in the dressing room. Shin only grinned listening to that, he knew Se Hyuk wasn't trying to congratulate him because the two were big rivals.

            "you are very arrogant, the axe..."Se Hyuk said in a mocking tone. Shin looked at Se Hyuk coldly.

            "How I hope to get a chance to kill you with my own hands, you arrogant Kim Shin" said Se Hyuk defiantly. He had changed his shirt and put on a sleeveless shirt before leaving the dressing room.

          "a real fighter never kills anyone else" said Kim Shin shortly afterwards. 

            He doesn't like talking to someone like Se Hyuk. For Shin, he was just a loser who really liked to blurting nonsense. The muscular man looked at Se Hyuk's back, and he accidentally saw an unknown tattoo on his back arm, he didn't understand what the tattoo meant and also he had never seen the tattoo before. Kim Shin can only identify the word " AC " from the tattoo on Se Hyuk's back written with a distinctive letter model.

          Shin then decided to go home, when he reached the house he didn't say anything and just entered his room.

           "Shin-ah, are you home?"Mrs. Kim asked when she heard a voice from outside. She is Shin's mother. 

          "Come on, let's eat first. You haven't eaten yet, have you?"his mother said again.

          The woman went to the kitchen and set the table for dinner with her only son. Shin and his mother had been living alone after his father had died one year ago.

           After putting down his bag, Shin immediately came out of his room and walked towards the dining room. His mother was waiting for him to have dinner together.

          "are you fighting again?"Mrs. Kim asked her son. Shin did not answer and continued to eat.

          Actually Shin's parents were completely against his fighting habits especially his father. Mr. Kim was the chief of police in his area before he died while performing his duties as a police officer. Mr. Kim was really angry whenever he found out that his son continued to fight here and there.

        "Shin-ah, can you stop fighting?"asked Mrs. Kim again in a soft voice trying not to offend her son.

         "I can't omma, I've earned money from there, I'm the only man here, so I want to make money for our little family. Every time I win, I will make more money" Shin explained without daring to look into his mother's eyes.

          "but omma doesn't want to eat from the money you get from fighting, you're already 26 years old now Shin-ah, aren't you willing to do a decent job, a good job like your father..."Mrs. Kim said again.

         "I hate them..."Shin said in a low voice.

"who?"Mrs. Kim didn't understand.

"police" Shin replied immediately.

"why? It is your father's job, they protect everyone " said Mrs. Kim.

          "they protect everyone but why can't they protect my little sister from the kidnappers, they can't protect my sister who died when she was only four years old, What do they do? Even father is unable to protect her " Shin said full of frustration.

            He really loved his sister but unfortunately, she died because of the stupid kidnappers, his sister tried to run away from the kidnappers and got herself involved in a car accident. A speeding car had crashed into her tiny body. 

            "Shin-ah... everything that happened has happened... it's not their fault, God arranged this for us..."Mrs. Kim explain sadly .

        "that's why mom, everything happened! If dad came sooner and found her first, she would never die! In the end, they did nothing! That's why, that's why I decided to be stronger than anyone, to protect my family that Dad, the policeman, cannot protect!"shouts Shin feeling the anger from his past has returned.

             He really hated the fact that his father could never save his own daughter, he did a lot for everyone, helped them and protected the country. But he could not protect his own daughter.

         "Kim Shin! How can you say that! Your father also feels sad about that! And also, he's dead now! How can you say something like that about him?"asked Mrs. Kim with teary eyes.

          Shin looked at his mother's face with a sad face, he couldn't bear to look at her teary eyes. He then stood up and left his house.

            Kim Shin walked a long way to calm his thoughts and feelings, he walked around the park and sat on a bench near a tree. He took his wallet and looked at the photo of his little sister smiling cheerfully. 

          "Jae Hyin-ah... how are you?"Shin said in a sad voice.

         "oppa made a mistake, didn't he? Oppa did it again, huh? I'm sorry to make our mother cry again..."said Shin rubbed a picture of Jae Hyin's face.

         "would you like it  if oppa apologized to mom?"the burly man asked the picture with a smile.

        "do you think oppa should do that?"ask the man again as if he was talking to a real person rather than a picture.

          "arraseo (alright)... oppa will do that, oppa will go home now " said Shin standing up and preparing to return to his home.

         Shin again traveled a long way to his home, he passed through the residential area while walking slowly. From a distance, he saw his mother standing alone in front of their house. 

          The woman was looking in the other direction and did not look towards Shin. There was a three section way in the road right in front of their house, Mrs. Kim looked to the East while Shin came from the North. Somehow the man caught the shocked expression from his mother's face.

        "omma...."call Shin to his mother . 

        "doorr!!"immediately there was a loud noise coming from the East, it was the sound of gunfire. Right after the sound filled the air, Mrs. Kim fell and lay on the ground.

        "omma!!"shouts Shin frantically running to his mother's side with lightning speed. 

        When Shin had reached his mother's side, he pulled the woman's weak body and hugged her tightly, he saw her mother's face start to paled. She just got a shot right in her left chest. 

         Shin then turned to the East and saw that a corpse had been lying on the road and a large shadow of a fleeing human left the corpse. The killer killed Mrs. Kim because the woman had seen the criminal's face after killing his victim.

      "omma... omma... please...."Shin said in a trembling voice. Mrs. Kim opened her eyes and looked at her son's face with teary eyes.

        "Shin-ah, nae adeul (my son) ...."Mrs. Kim said weakly.

          "ne... ne omma, please, you must be strong, I will take you to the hospital " said Shin wanting to lift his mother's body.

         "no... I just want to be with you now " said the mother shaking her head slowly. She raised her hand and wanted to touch her son's face. Shin quickly took his mother's hand and held it tightly.

          "please don't hate me who will leave you alone now..."Mrs. Kim said Sadly. 

         "anniya omma ( no mom), you won't go anywhere" said Shin starting to cry. His voice trembled from his sobs. 

         "and also... please don't hate your father, he loves you and Jae Hyin very much... please don't make him become sad over there, " Mrs. Kim said in a quiet voice.

          "omma....please don't talk anymore " Shin begged as he kissed his mother's hand. He knew his mother spent so much energy just to talk to him. 

          "promise me.... First... Shin...ah " Mrs. Kim's words began to sound indistinct. Her breath began to turned to gasp. 

           "I promise... I promise, but please don't leave me alone omma, please...." The man kept begging while crying. 

          "I ... Love... You... My... Son... Please... Follow... Your .... Father's... Job " said Mrs. Kim one last time before she lost her breath forever.

        "omma... omma!!"yelled Kim Shin crying loudly. Now he was completely alone, he lost his entire family. He has to live alone.
