CHAPTER 34

I stood there looking at the shadow ghostly figure that was standing across my kitchen, trying to make sense of what I was looking at.

“What are you?” I asked.

“I was sent here by the black witch. She says that you can’t hide.” He said.

“Then why isn’t she here to tell me that?” I asked.

“Because you’re surrounded by werewolves.” He said.

“Bullshit. That didn’t stop her last time. She doesn’t know where I am.” I said.

“She will find you. She will always find you. As long as you have the power, she will find that power.” He said.

“That’s how she sent you here. She’s picking up on my power and using that against me. But she doesn’t actually know where I am.” I said, more to myself than to the creature.

“Shut up. She will always find you.”

“Are you speaking for this ghost, black witch?” I asked.

“Of course I am.” He said.

“Well, good luck. You couldn’t grab me last time. You barely even hurt me.”
