CHAPTER 33

I knew that Connor needed to get some rest, but it was important for them to get to this pack to find these children that were in need.

The pack was 8 hours away and Connor insisted on getting some rest in the car on the way there.

I was fine with that. Just so long as he did, because I didn’t want him to have an accident while he was fighting in that pack. If it came to that. It would have been ideal if they could get in there without anyone seeing them, but that was very unlikely.

While Connor was packing his bag, I could feel his worry and tension as he was trying to concentrate on what he needed to do. But I knew that he wasn’t worried about himself anymore.

“You don’t need to worry about me.” I said. And he looked up at me in confusion.

“How did you know that I was worried about you?” He asked.

“I just did. You’ve already got 12 warriors on 24 hour surveillance of the house and they are in groups of 6 and they all have 12 hour shifts each. Nothing will get through the
