She recognised her dad's best friend Rogers who is a general and was known for his lust for women.

“He had always wanted to have her and he never denied it but she was not interested.

she couldn't help but be wary of him and his men trying not to look disgusted as he was known for his ruthlessness she greeted him.

"Greetings to you sir Rogers'' she said, forcing a smile on her face but seeing him grin so devilishly she couldn't help but regret her decision of coming to that alley.

She realised it isn't good to be alone in a lonely place and now she is all alone with him and his soldiers.

Rogersstared at her, he couldn't help but grin, he felt so lucky to meet her alone cuz he knew she had no way out.

Checking her out was something he was never tired of doing, lusting over her curves, skin, her beautiful face and cute beautiful eyes.

He thought of how he would grab those long white luscious hair of hers.

Even though others disliked her and avoided her, he can't just do the same and let such beauty waste without being touched by him.

"Annie, I must be blessed by the gods to see you here. I hope you wouldn't mind if we have some fun little one?"

He smirked looking at her lustfully thinking of things he would do to her in this forest but her voice interrupted him.

"I can't do that sir. I was sent on an errand by Duke Williams"

she said, trying to stop him by mentioning the Duke which he could see clearly.

His men tried to make a move but he raised his hand halting them with an annoyed look on his face,

He would deal with them later for interfering, this is his game and his prey so they shouldn't hunt in his stead nor act rashly.

" Little one you and I know very well that your father would not mind if you spend some quality time with me, come to me and I will treasure you, give you wealth, maids and respect so stop resisting me"

He knew he was right because Williams would be the last person to care about her. But she didn't give up.

" Sir you know that Lord Williams wouldn't take it lightly if one should delay his wife's needs and I was sent to buy some fruits for lady Elizabeth" she said looking at him.

‘now she has a point i don't want her beautiful body or face to be scarred before having her neither do I want the old man's trouble because he loves his bitch so much’

He thought as he squinted his slightly wrinkled eyes.

"Fine little one, you can go, see you next time.

hopefully you would consider my offer little one" he said with a wry smile.

Snow bowed lightly and left.

Rogers stared at her as she walked gracefully, swaying her hips gently.

Turning around he punched one of his soldiers, directing his annoyance towards him.

“I lost a perfect opportunity damn it” he half yelled and walked away.

Snow rushed to the market relieved that she managed to escape from Rogers.

when she reached to the square she looked around to see if they were behind her.

Seeing none of them behind her she nods in satisfaction,

She started looking for another fruit seller with fresh fruits.

She didn't want to go back to the old woman who decided to gossip about her because she knew she might say something bad if the woman said another word about her mother and herself.

People glanced at her warily while merchants that came from another Kingdom stared at her with awe but she didn't care anymore as she passed.

She saw a young girl who had black shiny hair and bright blue eyes selling apples, watermelon and oranges which were Elizabeth's favorite so she decided to go to her.

“Good day young one, how much are your fruits?” she asked politely with a smile and the girl looked at her weighing her which made her confused.

“you are kind, my fruits are sold one silver coin for three” Snow

gave her ten silver coins and collected the fruits she needed putting them in her basket.

Snow turned to leave walking three steps away,

“Young miss wait”

the young girl called out to her.

“You are kind and you are great yet you are not aware of many things surrounding you and who you are. You will face many things but know that you are ‘Stephanie’ you have the ability to overcome.

Snow turned around surprised but the girl bowed deeply and carried her fruits and left, joining the crowd so quickly that Snow couldn't see her again.

she couldn't help but to wonder who the girl was and what she was talking about, ‘i am sure my name is Snow so who is she talking about’ she thought as she turned back and walked away with her basket of fruits.

Snow decided to check on Mrs Aria's shop, and on reaching there she saw some customers who came to buy clothes.

She walked in further and saw a woman who was sitting at the inner part of the large shop.

She greeted the woman who smiled in return “Snow you are here how are you doing,

I wanted to ask Ben to inform you that you will be delivering queen Ruth's clothes to her today and here you are so are you available?, the payment would be two gold coins”

she asked fondly, Snow smiled her heart leaped joyiously.

“My lady, you're the best. I will be available. Let me keep these fruits at home and I will be back,” she said and left hurriedly.

Snow carried the bracket carefully as she walked happily or not as she would skip a bit when no one was in sight.
