59. My Punishment

I took Zelda back to our quarters, stripping her clothes off as we headed to the shower, she clung to my body like it was her lifeline, I don’t think she was aware we had left and was no longer in the court. I pulled the pins from her hair, I watched as it flowed down her back. I lowered her to her feet letting go of her so I could pull my own clothes off, she stood there unblinking as I turned on the shower testing the waters until it was the right temperature. Then taking her hand I brought her to me, she was starting to scare, I pulled her under the water, her body drenched, and her hair stuck to her face.

She finally looked back up at me, I almost wished she hadn’t, seeing the lost look in her eyes. Something must have triggered her, I’ll have to find out what it is but for now I needed her to snap out of this, I didn’t like the hollow look in her eyes.
