"You seems distracted" I snapped out of my thoughts when Jerwin spoke. Uminom sya mula sa baso nang tubig then he wiped his mouth.
"Sorry" I whispered.
He became silent until a music from a violin surrounds the place. May mga tao nang tumayo para magsayaw. I just stared at them, a memory flashed in my mind.
A memory of me and Jefferson dancing on our garden while he sings me a song.
My tears are about to fall but it gets interrupted when a hand shows infront of me. Jerwin stood there. His other hands is on his back. He had a small smile on his lip.
"May I have the dance?" He softly asked.
My heart suddenly fastens it's beat as I take his hands. He leads me to a space in the center. Tahimik akong pinapanood kung paano nya ilagay ang kamay ko sa magkabilang balikat nya then his both hands in my waist.

Working days started again. I'm currently resting myself dahil natapos ko na ang pag check at encode nang iilang files. Pati yung reports, na arrange ko na den. We landed abroad. We're now here, waiting for someone to pick us up. Jerwin has a condo here, he said so dun daw kami magsi stay until the deal ends. Two days before this day, I helped Jerwin packed his clothes. Nothing happened actually, we just pacjed the clothes, silently then after that, pinauwi nya agad ako para daw makapagpahinga. Inayos nya ang pagkakatayo nya and still, a smile was etched on his lips. A sound made us pulled away. Hindi ko napansin na nasa floor na pala kami. "Tara" sabi nya. We both stepped out off the elevator. U noticed that this is the top floor of the building. Why is he fond of top floors? Huminto sya sa tapat nang pintuan na nasa dulo nang hallway, hindi kalayuan sa elevator. He entered his code and the door inmediately opened. An automatic light turns on. Jerwin lets go of my hand, finally and dropped his things on the couch. Ako naman, inilibot ang tingin ko sa loob. It's neat and refreshing yung wallpaper. Tanaw din ang city from here and I bet, kapag may free time, dito ako tatambay, enjoying the view especially at night. "Why are you standing there? Come here. Put your luggage down and sit here" he reached out his hands. I walked towards the couch and put down my luggage at saka ako naupo sa tabi nya.

I'm now in my room. After what happened a while ago, Jerwin takes me here and said that I should rest. Tatawagin nalang daw nya ko if ever magdidinner but I suddenly remembered my favor. I asked if I can cooked our dinner! Tumayo ako at mabilis na nagpalit nang damit. Komportableng damit at saka ako lumabas. I tied my hair into a bun para hindi maging sagabal pag nagluto ako. My whole body froze. My heart fastens its beat and all I did was stare at him. Tears on my eyes started to fall too habang unti unti kong iniintindi ang lahat nang sinabi nya. "Ready?" He asked while fixing his tie. Humarap naman ako sakanya and I immediately smile when I saw him looking at me with a smile. Last look at my appearance, I nodded and walked near him. Last night when he confessed that he's Jefferson. We talked and talked until we both fell asleep. I asked him why his face changed but he diverted the topic kaya hindi ko na pinilit. He seems uncomfortable talking about that. Did he change his face so that my Dad wouldn't continue his plan on killing him? But, my Dad seems to know that it's him since narinig ko yung usapan nila ni Mommy non. After talking, we both fell asleep. Next to each other. I remembered hugging him. The meeting started and Jerwin immediately became serious and focused. Nawala yung kaninang nagtatampo nyang mukha. His father and mother seems calm too. And here I am, focusing on the meeting too. Mr. Gutierrez, the man who's making a deal with the Rivera's is speaking right now and I've been noticing how his secretary looks at the man beside me. She's quite young but older than me, I think and eversince she stepped inside with her boss, she can't take her eyes off Jerwin. And it irritates me but I calmed myself. It's immature kung papatulan ko at isa pa, I don't think I have the rights to act possessive. "Is that okay with you, Mr. Rivera?" Mr. Gutierrez asked. He smiled at his friend and waits for his answer. "Of course, your works and ideas always amaze me. And I already know that you're ideas would impress me" Mr. Rivera said. They shook hands and Jerwin did also.

I immediately go to get my things and pull out clothes to change when we got to his condo. I sighed as I started to comb my hair. Nahiga ako sa kama at kinuha ang phone ko. I remembered my Mom. I should call her. Jefferson opened the door and smiled. He's now wearing a white cotton shirt and black shorts. He sits in my bed and taps the space beside me, asking if he could lay down. I nodded and started dialing my mother's number. Jefferson wrapped his arms around my waist and burried his face on my hair. I closed my eyes and leaned on his chest as I wait for my mother to answer. "Who are you calling, hm?" He whispered. "My mom. I want to know how she's doing" sagot ko kasabay nang pagsagot nang tawag mula sa kabilang linya. "Mom?" I called. A silence greeted me. Until I heard sobs. My eyes instantly opened and I immediately sit up causing Jefferson to sit up too.
