She couldn't wait to see his angry face when they got home and heard that Alden was able to get positive results about the hunt. She smiled inwardly.

He scoffed at her. "If you could do it to my brother then you can do it to me too."

There was a time that his words pierced her, made her cry even. But she was past that stage now.

"Maybe the problem is not me" she egged him on. With a hidden smile, she watched him almost tear his hair out

She knew his problem now. He had inferiority complex and was always striving to be better than everyone else to make himself look better. He would be the death of himself one of these days.

She entered the car and he instructed the driver to drive off.

Meanwhile, Alden and Brendan were called down for dinner.They went downstairs to join their hosts.
