Outside business

Pamela:

This was my second week working for Charles. Each day had it's own drama and Charles didn't miss any opportunity to humiliate me.

It was another beautiful morning, and as soon as I got to work, I went straight to his office to report.

I knocked on his door and I waited for him to ask me in. He looked busy as his whole being was engulfed in the papers in front of him.

“Good morning sir”I said, and he nodded without sparing a glance.

“A coffee” he said before I could ask

"Okay," I said then I walked out of his office.

He didn't regard me in anyway and I don't know why but I kept having the feeling that he rejected those coffee's on the first day in order to punish me.

I went out to get him coffee once more. When I opened the door to the coffee shop and the bell which hung on the door rang, the barista looked up at me and a warm smile spread across his perfectly sculpted face.

I returned the smile and I strode confidently to the counter not minding the people who stared at me
