Sally's POV

“Are you sure you can drive?” Darius asked for the umpteenth time.

I glared at him. “You know, I have a driver's license for a reason.”

“Uh, sometimes people have a driver's license but are terrible drivers.”

I gave him the dirtiest look I could muster. Is he saying I'm a bad driver without even experiencing it?

Yes, I can drive, I just choose not to because I like being in nature in my town.

I drove us to Ryan's pack territory, just like I remembered Jackson taking me here last time.

Darius and I got out of the car and walked toward an acquaintance I saw standing not far from us. "Allen."

"Hey, sister." The boy smiled at me but gave Darius an annoyed look.

“Uhm… this is my friend, Darius. He is visiting from Germany.”

Suddenly, Allen's once stiff posture became easier when he heard that name. “Did you say Darius – Alpha Darius Hunter?”

Darius nodded with a gentle smile on his face. "Only one man."

"Oh okay. Come here, I'll show you the way to the grill."
