Chapter 38 Trei

I let out a wild grunt as the hold of the intruder loosened because of the mucus all over my body.I then faced my attacker just as the lights went on. I saw Trei with a look of disgust on his face as he wiped the mucus on his green suit.

Green? Does that mean he took on agriculture?

“What are you doing here?” I hissed at him. Then I remembered his promise that he made to me when he came back. “Have you...have you found my father?”

He turned towards me with a grim look on his face. “No. I came here for a different reason.” There was a look on his face that I didn’t like. It was as if I had betrayed him for some reason. “Then what?” I demanded.
