This summary is for those who didn't want to read chapter twenty nine due to some of the possible triggers in it. To sum it up in the chapter it talks about Laina meeting and being given to Elstan on her fourteenth birthday. Her father is forced out of her life after treating her poorely and abusing her. Laina realizes fairly quickly what kind of man Elstan is but is now stuck in the situation. You also read about Elstan being given the vial of the stimulant he used to over power Kaydence in the first book. Although I don't name the character it is from the Elder who was there for the challenge. Again thank you for all your support guys.

I sat on the edge of mine and Dominics bed holding the only photo of Elstan and I that I still had. We looked so happy and so in love in the photo. I couldn't figure it out, but for whatever reason I just couldn't destroy it. I still hated him, but I hadn't always and I knew that. Sometimes I couldn't help but wonder how things would be if he had been different. I was struggling mentally knowing that in two days I would be killing my first mate if he refused to back down. True he had put our pack through hell and he had destroyed everything, but even then I couldn't fully hate him and I didn't understand it. "Are you ok?" Dominic asked sitting next to me and pulling me into him. I shook my head. "Honestly I don't know any more." Dominic looked at the picture and smiled. "You look beautiful in this photo angel." He said playing with a strand of my hair. "This was right before he started trying to control how I dressed." "Kay i'm not mad you still have this,
I stood looking at the twenty wolves that were in my squad. Most were pack members since Dominic thought that would be best but I had two that were not in Pale crest pack. It was of course Alpha Blaine and Alpha Avery who insisted I take two of their better warriors. I didn't understand at first, but when Dominic explained they were just worried about me and wanted to make sure I would be able to get to Elstan I understoodazx hvff. There was only two girls on my squad which I thought was a bit sexist but I didn't argue with Dominic. I knew he just wanted to make sure I would be safe since none of us knew what would happen tomorrow. "Alright everyone listen up." Everyone looked at me and I almost shrank away before reminding myself of what I was doing and why it had to be done. I wasn't sire why i felt so uneasy all of a sudden. "Does everyone know our squads duty?" I asked making sure everyone had been able to hear Dominic a litle while ago. "Protect Pale Crests Luna whil
The next morning we were all up early. I threw on a pair of yoga pants and a tank top that I didn't care much about, not even bothering with a bra or panties since I was most likely going to be fighting in wolf form a good portion of the time. I had a spare pair of clothes I was going to store in the bus Dominic, myself and a few others would be riding in. We had agreed that instead of stripping down to shift like we usually would we would just bring extra clothes to save time and not leave as much evidence. I had tried shifting with clothes on before and I remembered destroying them. Dominic and I headed to breakfast together. We had notified the kitchen staff about an early breakfast the night before for todays battle and thankfully there was muffins, fruit and cups of coffee and juice all to go. By five everyone was on the training grounds and ready to go. No body said anything and the tension in the air was so thick it was pract
I stood there debating on what to do for a moment. Elstan didn't budge, but the wolf to his right waved his arm above his head, almost like he was waving at me, and more wolves that I hadn't noticed before stepped forward. I didn't recognize most, if any of the wolves that were there. Was it possible they were all rogues? How many had he taken in? I tried not to think about it and tried to just keep my head and mind clear. That was my best bet right now. I took a few deep breaths to calm myself. "I had a feeling that once you figured out that Alpha Larson betrayed your little secret to me you guys would plan to attack as soon as possible. I had a feeling today would be the day. Glad to see you're as predictable as ever Kaydence. So let me tell you how this is gonna go. You have two options. Leave now and I will let you, Dominic and the wolves of Pale Crest walk away unharmed. Option two we fight it out, I kill you and force D
Hey everyone Thank you so much for reading book two in the surviving my fate series. I am currently working on book three Surviving My Blood as well as some other books in the series. Surviving my blood will start having chapters posted on a weekly basis and the first chapter is already up. It will also be the final book in Kaydence and Dominics story as the other books will focus on the other Allied Alphas and them finding their mates. I am also working on book two to For the Love of Death which I have titled For the Children of Death and that will also have weekly chapters posted. I am also planning to work on a murder myster novel that my grandmother inspired me to write which is called Murder in bloom. The next book I will also be posting weekly chapters for is called The vampires Kiss and is a version of the first vampire book I wrote for a creative writing class in highschool. The final book I am working on is actually the first werewolf book I ever wrote and i'm deciding to
I must of dozed off at some point after talking to Dominic after leaving Deepridge pack territory because my mate was now gently shaking my knee to inform me we were home safely in Palecrest territory. My mate. The words sounded almost too good to be true. Looking over at Dominic though I was forced to realize this was my reality now. I would enjoy this for now but just because I was bannished from Deepridge didn't mean I didn't still have things to take care of there. I glanced out the window of Dominics black Jeep and was happy to see the familiar territory that I had visited a handful of times with my family growing up. I glanced back at Dominic. He had changed a good bit since I last saw him. He was significantly taller obviously but he wasn't the awkward, lanky, kinda dorky looking boy I had grown up with. He was still slender but he had a good bit of muscle to him now. He still had the same golden brown eyes but the glasses were gone. Even the braces were gone. I just could
I woke with the urge to pee only to find myself in a room that was dark. I panicked for a moment until I heard soft snores next to me. I didn't have to look to know that it was Dominic. I rubbed my eyes and looked around for a clock or something. An alarm clock with a pale blue light coming from it sat on a little bedside table on Dominics side and read that it was six in the morning. I stood and stretched realizing I had slept for close to twelve hours. Dominic stirred and sat up as I finished stretching. "Good morning beautiful." He said turning on his bedside lamp. I looked at him and smiled. "Good morning." I looked at the four doors in the room. I looked at him and tilted my head. "Bathroom is the closest door on the right to you." I mouthed thank you and darted into the bathroom being careful not to pee myself. I was still in the same black dress as yesterday. I could only assume he didn't want me to think anything negative if he had changed me into something el
"Mommy do I have to wear this?" I asked as she brushed my hair up into a dancer bun. I was sitting on her lap in a pale pink dress with white tights and pale pink flats. She wore a matching dress with matching heels. "Yes darling we're going to go see mommys best friend, we haven't been able to see each other since you were born. It's her birthday today so I want to show off just how beautiful my one and only is." She said fastening pearl hair clips to the bun. "But mommy why can't I wear pants like daddy?" I asked pointing to my father who stood in the door way wearing a black suit. "Because darling it's not proper for little girls to wear suits. Besides you match me doesn't that make you feel a little better." I pouted. "No I want to match daddy too." My father laughed and sat next to my mom. My mom sighed and handed me to my father. "She's withou
