CHAPTER 21

I stayed by Asher's side most of the time that he was back that night and the following day but he was still unconscious. So after I got Connor to bed I went to have a shower and then I got dressed and I climbed into bed next to Asher.

I was almost asleep when I felt something around my waist and I looked to see Asher wrapping his arm around me. I turned my head to look at him and his eyes were open with a smile on his face.

" I think I like this landscape better." He says.

" Asher." I say getting up as quickly as possible.

" Yeah. Why do you always bring me to the garden if I knew that the bedroom was an option?" He asked. And I put my hands on his face.

" Asher. Look at me. This isn't a dream. It's not a trick. This isn't a mind link." I say cupping his face and looking into his eyes.

" What are you talking about?" He asked grinning stupidly at me.

" You're home Asher. We found you. We found Elias' hideout and we bought you home." I say.
