Chapter Fifteen

The next morning unfolded with a soft glow, casting hues of dawn through the curtains of Adrian's room.I woke up and feel a lot of pains all over my body. I rolled away the duvet but I couldn't find Adrian beside me. I walked toward the window and saw him doing some exercise.

He was diligently immersed in his workout routine, caught my attention. Drops of sweat glistened on his chiseled jaw, accentuating the contours of his face. His dark brown hair clung to his forehead, dampened by the intensity of his exercise.

As he moved, the play of muscles beneath his taut skin revealed a sculpted physique. His broad chest expanded with each breath, showcasing the result of dedicated hours spent in the gym. Brown eyes, focused and determined, reflected a quiet confidence that drew admiring glances.
