Chapter Fourteen

As the night came to a close, Adrian paid the bill and gently helped me on my feet. My steps were a bit unsteady because was a little bit drunk, and I leaned on him for support. He wrapped his arm around my waist, guiding me with a caring smile.

"Easy there, Samantha. Let me help you," He said softly, his voice warm and reassuring.

Outside the restaurant, the night air was crisp, and I shivered slightly. He draped his suit jacket over my shoulders, his touch gentle and protective. He get his car from the car pack, and he carefully assisted meinto the backseat.

When we arrived at his place, he guided me inside, his arm still wrapped around me, ensuring I didn't stumble. The cozy ambiance of his home greeted us, and I felt a sense of warmth wash over me.

"Let's get you comfortable," Adrian said, leading me to his living room. He helped me sit down on the couch, and then disappeared briefly, returning with a glass of water. "Drink this. It'll help you feel better," he said, ha
