Chapter Eighteen

I was undeterred, I signaled at the warriors to secure the area. I turned back to the captive rogue, his eyes narrowing.

I moved closer to him and whispered in his ears, “Your defiance will only lead to more suffering. Now, tell me why you're here.”

The rogue leader hesitated, but the imminent threat of the pack warriors did not change anything. He looks loyal to whoever his master might be.

“Secure them. Take the rogue leader and the others to the underground cells. We need answers.” I said.

My voice cut through the aftermath of the battle as I issued the command to the warriors. The pack warriors, efficient and disciplined, swiftly subdued the rogues and led them towards the hidden entrance of the underground cells.
