LYDIA’S POVI took a step at a time while descending the stairs. I heard the honk of Alpha Dave’s car, and it was why I left my room. He didn’t spend the night in the mansion, and it did get me worried.Throughout the previous day, I didn’t set my eyes on him. I asked some guards about his whereabouts, and I was told he drove out suddenly. I tried calling him, but I found out he left his phone at home.“Lydia,” he muttered after he saw me.
