ログインLYDIA’S POV
I struggled to keep up with Alpha Kendrick’s eyeballs, it was my way of trying to figure out if he meant those words of his that stole my breath for a moment.
The spectators went from murmuring to roaring with laughter. Not only did my hands tremble, my feet did the same as the spectators' laughter continued to echo.
“Let go of me!” I yelled after he grabbed my arm, his claws had dug in. I struggled but I couldn’t get him to let go of my arm.
“Watch me” He leans in before whispering, his lips grazing my ear. My chest had tightened and it felt like my heart was being ripped out.
He sank his canines into the spot where the mate bond glows faintly on my neck and instead of marking me, he tore it open with a loud howl. His wolf was at work.
“Ouuu!” I screamed in pain and collapsed to the floor as the mate bond shatters.
No one came to my rescue, not Vivian, not even Kendra. They remained in a spot and watched me cry in pain as I continued to bleed, he clawed my arm at first, and now my neck.
“Pathetic!” A voice screamed, definitely one of the spectators.
It seemed my wolf just stirred for the first time in my life and it wasn’t a voice but a low growl or perhaps it was all in my head and she never growled.
“I heard her growl faintly, I felt it”
Both of my eyes were closed, It could be a way of connecting with my wolf that has decided to stop being mute. Noise filled the air after a few seconds and I couldn’t help opening my eyes.
My sister’s wolf eyes were glowing red as Alpha Kendrick’s mark spread over her skin! Her neck area if I were to be specific. Something did shatter inside me while watching that.
Kendra had her eyes on me while I was numb. Was she romantically involved with Alpha Kendrick and was keeping it a secret from me?
“Did Alpha Kendrick just choose a random person to mark and it turned out to be you?” I inquired from where I was.
“Did you mark my sister on purpose so I would be more hurt than I already am?” I asked Alpha Kendrick after Kendra refused to give me a response.
“Couldn’t you have said no because he’s my mate?” I turned to Kendra before asking and she just took her eyes off me.
“How could you do this to me? You not only rejected me but marked my own sister? Was this planned?”
“Shut the fuck you, you weak liability. She’s more fit to be a queen than you’d ever be,” Alpha Kendrick sneered and more laughter erupted from the crowd.
Kendra was being celebrated, of course, she would be the Luna of the pack. Unlike me, she has a wolf and was fit to be Luna, she wasn’t petite either.
“The celebration can now begin!” Alpha Kendrick announced.
“Celebration? Did we all gather here tonight to watch him mark a lady as his?” I threw the question in the air but no one heard me.
Music had came on and just like that, I was forgotten. No one cared if I needed help due to the bleeding, and no one cared about how Alpha Kendrick’s actions were affecting me at the moment.
“Won’t you get up?” A voice inquired, it was a deep husky one. I looked in the direction it came from and my eyes landed on a man I wasn't seeing for the first time.
“Do you need help?” He was standing right in front of me when he questioned. He stretched forth his hand and I didn’t think I need his help.
“I once trusted people, look where that got me. I can’t trust anyone any longer, not even fate” I murmured. There was something about his aura, something weird about it.
“Come on, you’re bleeding and it doesn’t look as though it would stop anytime soon” he urged him. It was either I allow him to help or I bleed to death.
I gave him my hand and before I knew it, I was in his arms. My blood stained his outfit in the process but he didn’t look irritated, nor was he complaining.
“Have we met before?” I broke the silence while he kept motioning. I could tell we were headed in the sickbay’s direction due to the direction he was going.
“You hid the pain well I must say” His response. That wasn’t an answer to the question I asked him and he didn’t tell a lie when he said I hid the pain well.
“Ouch!” I exclaimed. He hasn’t been gentle with the cleaning of the wound ever since we arrived here in the sickbay.
“You can cry or fight, the choice is yours and if I were you, I’d go for the latter” He spoke softly.
“Did you feel some type of way after you gave me your hand earlier?” He questioned while my gaze was still fixated on him.
“Never mind” He mumbled before I could give a response and just like that, he dropped the forceps in his hand and walked away.
“He didn’t even mention his name or where I know him from, or maybe even the reason he helped me. I did feel funny after I gave him my hand though” I stated.
“My foster mother would have a whole lot to say to me now that her daughter would soon be crowned as Luna. This isn’t the perfect time to head home” I reminded myself.
“My only offense is being an Omega” I muttered with tears in my eyes after I recalled the words of Alpha Kendrick. The tears hadn’t dropped when I recalled the words of the man who brought me here.
“Rather than cry, I would fight,” I said aloud. I raised my chin so the tears in my eyes would return to wherever they came from.
I rose to my feet and headed for the training arena, it was out of bounds for Omegas but I had a plan. If I can shift then I can take revenge on Alpha Kendrick for humiliating me publicly, and also Kendra and Vivian for being an accomplice.
“Hey!” A flashlight was pointed at my face right after my ears caught that voice. I remained in a spot and stopped loitering around the premises of the pack arena.
Nonverbally, I was asked to come into the training arena and I didn’t hesitate. He must have been watching me and he wasn’t here alone, a training session was ongoing.
“Why are you here?” The flashlight was off when he inquired. I wasn’t looking at his face as it would be a sign of disrespect, I could tell he wasn’t a female due to his voice.“To train” I cooed and gulped loudly.
“An Omega? You won’t last five minutes” He managed to speak in the middle of his laughter.
I didn’t realize until now that it was boldly written on my forehead that I was an Omega, or maybe my scent sold me off.
No one would be willing to train me so I can shift, what exactly would I do with my life?
“Five minutes is all I need to prove you wrong,” I said nervously. Next to me was a sword lying on the ground.
CHAPTER FOURLYDIA’S POV“Lydia!” Coach Dave screamed at the top of his voice. My fists remained slightly clenched and I just pretended as though I didn’t hear him scream my name.I increased the pace at which I motioned down the hallway that lead to the principal’s office, my attention was needed there. My wolf thinks the best thing to do is have a word with Coach Dave.“This is all your fault” I told Aria. Ever since I shifted in the woods while fighting the rogues, everyone in the academy has been running away from me.“I like that I now have you but I just don’t like that you chase other wolf away with your aura, now they think I’m a witch or something” I mumbled,“Maybe you’re a witch” She howled. That was definitely to make me laugh.“Why have you been distant?” Coach Dave showed up in front of me. He still caught up with me despite how fast I motioned.“The sooner we talk about this, the better” I hadn’t given a response to his question when he said. I had a feeling things were
CHAPTER THREEKENDRICK’S POVI gripped the hilt of my sword tighter and I planned to use it on a rogue’s sword. The sounds of swords clashing filled the air while my nostrils were filled with the smell of blood.“Y’all made a huge mistake by attacking the academy simply because you aren’t allowed to school here. My colleagues and I would prove to y’all that we aren’t to be messed with!” I announced.“Too slow” I mumbled under my breath. One just came at me.I stepped back and rolled my wrist to adjust my grip. My steel met his flesh and I couldn’t help but roar in laughter, another of then was gone and in no time, they would all be dead. The remaining of them could be counted unlike some hours ago. I took a deep breath knowing we conquered them already and as Alpha, I couldn’t be more proud.“You shouldn’t have done this little one” Another had just charged at me when I wasn’t expecting. The blade of my sword caught his legs and it made him hit the ground hard, then I drove the tip of

LYDIA’S POVThe first punch came harder than the others. It knocked the air from my chest and got me rolling on the floor and straight into the mud.Laughter rippled through the training field, echoing louder than my heart that had picked up a race, it felt as though it was about to rip off my chest.“Stay down, Omega!” My ears caught, my eyes were buried in shame that I couldn’t look up to see who the speaker was, but even if I knew the speaker, what would I do to him or her?“You’ll never shift anyway. You’re useless” Another of them sneered and I knew that wouldn’t be the height of it.“The petite Omega has refused to make us proud again!” Those were the words of a colleague.I tasted a little of my warm blood while it rushed down my face. My wolf should have been growling but she was silent, always silent and would mostly likely remain silent forever. My jaw was tightly clenched and I rose to my feet, my colleagues still had a lot to say to me but I listened to them with deaf ears
