The warm rays of the sun crept through the windows, the warm morning light warmed Aria’s skin.

Beneath the blanket, she stirred. Her heavy eyes fluttered open before quickly closing back. The light was too harsh for her eyes.

A low groan escaped her lips as she raised her hand and gently rubbed her eyes. When she opened her eyes again, she did it slowly, giving her eyes time to acclimate to the sunlight.

At first, her thoughts were completely foggy. She could tell that she was back at the cottage, but she didn’t know how she got there.

How did she get there?

What happened last night?

These were all questions that rushed through her mind as she slowly sat up. She blinked as she stared into the dancing flames of the hearth, trying to remember.

When it all came crashing back, it was at a time she didn’t expect.

Her eyes grew blank as the weight of her memories settled in.

Lucien, the blood pooling beneath him. The forest humming, the silver strands that filled the air as she wished for h

  • THE BROKEN LUNA: MATED TO THE CRIPPLED ALPHA   A REUNION OF KISSES

Aria’s gaze softened as she took in a deep breath. The world held its breath as she opened her eyes. She began walking back and stopped just a couple of feet away from him. Her heart began beating faster than it ever had, it pounded loudly in her ears. The bright light of the moon washed over Lucien’s massive wolf form. The moonlight highlighted every tense muscle in his body, every shift in his fur and, above all, the longing and love in his gaze.Aria’s breath hitched as she looked down. She had never seen anything so beautiful. She had seen others before, but Lucien’s wolf was the largest and most imposing she had ever seen. But she didn’t feel scared; no, she felt loved. Her feet began moving before her thoughts could even catch up to her. She slowly walked around Lucien, her brows furrowed as she felt an invisible thread begin to pull over her heart. She was completely entranced by Lucien’s form. Her hands trembled slightly by her side. Awe and wonder were the two most prevalent

Marcus POV:Warning: 18+ blood and gore, please skip if you do not like graphic scenes. The air around the throne room was thick with blood.Marcus Raven, alpha of the Raven clawhold and self-proclaimed devil, licked his lips with anticipation. The walls of the throne room of his pack were painted in blood, the dark red stone walls were covered in shadows, further amplifying the terror of the throne room.Tonight, just like every other night where Marcus was angry, the walls were going to be repainted. The sound of a sickening crack filled the throne room as bone cartilage gave way to pure brute force. Marcus grinned, his teeth blood-stained, as he threw away the freshly severed head of his beta. The head bounced once on the stone floor before rolling and ending up at the feet of one of his betas.“Clean this up.” Marcus growled,The beta, whose face was completely blank, quickly nodded and went to work.Marcus Raven was in Lycan form, at an impressive height of over 9 feet, he tow

  • THE BROKEN LUNA: MATED TO THE CRIPPLED ALPHA   THE HOWLING WOLF

Lucien smiled as he stood by the doorway, the soft crackle of the fire behind him faded into the quiet warmth of the now subdued forest. His smile widened as he looked back towards the bed where his mate now slept.Aria was still sound asleep, her breathing was calm and smooth. Even unconscious, he could spot a smile forming at the corner of her lips. The moonlight spilled through the now defrosted window and shone brightly on Aria’s sleeping form. For a brief moment, Lucien thought he saw the moonlight flicker, but that disappeared too quickly to confirm.Aria looked peaceful, like she didn’t belong to the mortals on the planet, like she belonged among the stars.Like she was blessed. With narrowed eyes and clenched fists, he tore his gaze away from her. His chest tightened as he took a step forwards, out into the night. He didn’t want to leave her, but the ache he could feel deep in his soul was undeniable. For years, he had been too hurt, both physically and emotionally, to give in

  • THE BROKEN LUNA: MATED TO THE CRIPPLED ALPHA   REBIRTH

Lucien’s eyes shot open at once. The immense weight of his body pressed on him as a groan escaped his lips.“What happened?” He murmured under his breath. His body felt wrong, it felt light, too light. He could feel the earth beneath him. He took a deep breath and tried to sit up. He clenched his fists, prepared for the pain that was sure to lash out at him.But nothing came, he sat up with so much ease and force that he almost jumped up.His sight was still cloudy, and his lashes fluttered softly as he felt something press on them.He raised his hand and wiped his face, clearing his eyes. Now that his sight was clear, the first thing he noticed was the moon.Ever bright, it was round and glowing. It was full. The world was quiet and still.Again, his lips parted as he tried to make sense of where he was. “Where am I?”Around him, the full moon brightened the grove. That was when he noticed the blood.Lucien blinked, everything was soaked in blood. His memories came crashing in, and h

Aria didn’t walk, she ran.Long branches lashed at her face, thorns pierced through the soles of her feet as she moved, her body ached, and her breath came in rough ragged gasps. She couldn’t stop, she wouldn’t.Not when her instincts kept telling her that Lucien was about to die.She didn’t even remember when she rushed out of the grotto. Her cloak was already torn into shreds, her hair was tangled, but she didn’t stop.Absolutely nothing could stop her. She couldn't care less about monsters or terrifying creatures in Whitevale. The pull from the grotto had completely disappeared; it was now replaced by a more demanding one, primal, intense and desperate.Aria couldn’t remember how she found him. One moment, she was running wildly through the forest; The next, she rushed into the grove and, for a brief moment, her world shattered. It was as if her heart knew the way better than she did. By the time she reached him, her entire vision was consumed by rage and fear. She kept moving unti
