"My baby, how do you feel now?" I stroked Chase's hairs while trying my best to control my tears from spilling. He was laying on the bed, eyes closed but his face was white.

He slowly fluttered them open and blinked a few times to adjust his vision in the bright light of the room.

"Mom..Mommy?" He said in a very weak voice and coughed.

"Hey, baby shhh...I am right here. You're okay now." I stroked his head to make him feel comfortable.

"Hey buddy, here, please drink some water." Dominic tilted his head slightly to help him in drinking some water.

"Do you feel better now, Chase?" Principal Woods, who shrank in a corner after Dominic threatened to drag the school and the responsibile teachers in the court.

"I am good now, Sir." He smiled faintly at his Principal and then turned to look at me,"Mommy, please take me home, this bed is not comfortable." He tucked his tiny hand with mine.
