Chapter 14: Campaign

Madam Vanessa cringed inwardly, the two of them remained silent for some time before Madam Vanessa requested “can I see her room?”

Mama Sarah nodded, and pointed towards a door, she stood on her feet and walked towards the door Mama Sarah pointed a finger at, and Madam Vanessa pushed the door open.

And a frame on the wall came into view, three people in the picture,

she froze while staring at it, her feet padded the floor, as she made her way towards the frame and took the frame from where it is hung on the wall.

Her eyes teared up as she settled on Mora's properly dressed bed, her shaking fingers on the frame.

The door creaked, and Mama Sarah emerged standing at the door “Vanessa” she called out to the grief-ridden woman, who looked towards her with bloodshot eyes.

Mama Sarah handed over an envelope to her “I wanted to give this to you, years ago, but you have refused to ask of your friend” she said and turned around walking out of the room.
