Chapter twenty-nine

He removed the phone from his ear.

"She said that two guards will have to go with you if you must go."

I shrugged and said, "You may come, but make sure to keep a safe distance from where I am, because I do not want you disrupting my fun."

They nodded, and Kelly and I started going like we did not notice them. We walked a bit, then reached the club. It was a magnificent building.

There was no line and no bouncers like the usual clubs we usually hit.

Kelly led me to the bar immediately, then smiled seductively at the barman. His gaze wandered all over her body, and he licked his lips, but immediately he looked at me. He bowed respectfully.

"Princess, what should I get you?"

"Two glasses of whiskey, please?" I said to him.

"Coming right up."

He handed me two glasses, and we hit the dance floor.
