CHAPTER 70

THIRD PERSON'S POV

Lucas blinked against the harsh glare of the hospital lights, his senses slowly coming back to him. He shifted uncomfortably in the stiff hospital bed, trying to make sense of the situation.

Sheena sitting near his bed immediately stands, her smile warm but tinged with concern. "Ah, finally you're awake. How are you feeling, Beta?"

Lucas managed a weak smile, his throat dry and scratchy. "Like I've been run over by a freight train. My body is aching all over, what happened anyway?"

"You don't remember anything?" Sheena asked confused.

"Yes, I can't recall what happened after the fight," Lucas answered, trying to remember the last events before he passed out.

"How about Adam? Do you remember him?" Sheena asked.

Lucas answered by nodding, he still couldn't believe that Adam could do that.
