Escaping the enemy territory

Molly:

A dry throat woke me up. I forced my eyes open, but I was surrounded by darkness. Now I can breathe, unlike before, when all I inhaled was a huge dose of chloroform, causing me to pass out.

The door to the room was suddenly yanked open.

“I see you are awake,” a male voice said, and I immediately gulped down. He did not sound like the guy who threw the sack over my head. It was softer, but with an accent.

“Please, I need some water,” I said, and he approached me and ran his hands across my face.

My stomach tightened in disgust as I felt his hands on me. There was nothing I could do because I was bound and blindfolded.

He spit on me and yelled. “You deserve nothing more than death. Accompanied by your husband. That beast!”
