CHAPTER 9: THE VAMPIRE KING

Marissa was sitting on the desk, her left leg was lying on it while her right was on the floor. Aiden kept his distance, but they kept gawking at each other, he didn't want to interfere in hunter business and he had agreed that whatever they did, they would do it together and none of them would keep secrets.

“I was able to enter his unconscious and memory lane, but I couldn't proceed after 1756. I think that someone blocked your memories with magic.” Hadrian looked at Aiden before getting his gaze back to the book he was holding.

“Were you able to get some information?” Marissa questioned wishing that Hadrian had figured out a way to kill them.

“Death and disaster.” Hadrian glanced at Aiden again.

“I'm not surprised. We have been through a lot as a family.” Aiden shook his head. Marissa scoffed. A vampire was no good and hearing that they had been in pain made her feel delighted.

“Why won't you kill Darius?” Hadrian said disgusted with even mentioning his name.
