WRITER’S POV

“Damn you! Useless bastards!” chief Giovanni kicked Lorenzo’s leg for the second time since he got to the organization and was informed Mattia has escaped. It made him even more furious that it was Angelo that rescued him.

“How could you be so useless! You let a wanted man overpower you in my own turf! Just one man with zero experience and you with how many men? Get out all of you!” he barked.

The men bowed and soon scampered off.

“You! Where do you think you are going!” he yelled as Lorenzo made to walk out with the other men.

He marched furiously towards him. “Are you really leaving with them?”

Chief voice suddenly went calm. He held his collars delicately. “Lorenzo...how long will you let Angelo keep beating you...remind me again...you started training here at the same time with him, isn’t it? So why, why do you let him win you all the time?”
