CHAPTER 40: Eudora

THE next morning, the rainy night was replaced by thick fog. A woman with a haircut commonly used by men and with a dark skin, came out of a bamboo hut with a grass roof.

“You have to change your roof, Eudora.” said the young girl who is just with her age.

“Nah, I won’t be staying long in this village, Shuga.” Eudora said while they are both walking towards a house which was built with big trunks of trees, a well architected house for a supreme resident of the village.

“What are we going to do at the chief’s house?” Shuga didn’t want to get involved in something that Eudora is going to make.

“I didn’t ask you to come with me, Shuga, all the time. You are the one who wants to get involved. Don’t act as the force-petty-victim here, Shuga.” She’s now annoyed.
