Ava's POV

I went home last night tipsy. I didn't think about my husband anymore because for sure, he doesn't think about me as well. He looked so happy together with his colleagues especially the girls. They were so happy together as if he didn't have a wife. Luckily, he didn't see me and gladly, I was able to control myself not to get near them and gave him a word. That he has a wife and flirting with some girls in front of me was cheating.

She was smiling so brightly so I did the same thing to her and then near her.

"Kamusta ang off mo, Manang? Did you enjoy it with your family?" I asked. She nodded.

I was about to respond when someone from the stairs was shouting. I smiled widely when I saw my son together with her nanny, Maela.

"Mom!" he shouted and excitedly walked down the stairs while hus nanny was holding his hand and guiding him carefully.

"Mom! Where were you last night? I was looking for you because U want to sleep with you?" His eyes were sad and his lips were pouted so I just knelt in front of him and then held his shoulders.

"Sorry, my baby. I just need to go to work last night but don't worry, we will sleep together tonight," bawi kong sabi na siyang ikinaliwanag ng mga mata niya. In his early age, four years of age, he already knows how to understand very well especially kapag may work kaming mga magulang niya.

He doesn't demand time and I was really glad because he grew up very well in the hands of Maela. Well, Maela didn't graduate in her college but I was really happy that I hired her because she was so caring, kind and helpful to me.

"Yehey!" my son exclaimed that made us giggle.

"Maela, kumain na ba kayo? I think I woke up late and it's saturday, did you already cook?" I asked her.

I smiled and then nodded.

"Mabuti naman. Manang, can you call my husband?

"Mom? Did you forget that he doesn't eat here in our house? He always eats outside with his workmates," my son muttered. Even him knows that his father doesn't eat in our house.

I even sacrificed my dream to be a fashion designer just to help him and their company but at the end of the day, I still received nothing but hatred and coldness from him.

I tried. I really tried. Cooked for him. Prepared everything for him.

Al was standing there, he coldly stared at us for a second and then diverted his gaze in the stairs until he reached the ground.

Baka pagod lang si Daddy sa work kahapon," I tried not to show him my emotions because my son was weak for that. He was so easy to hurt that's why kung maaari, gusto ko siyang palaging masaya kaya binibigay ko lahat nang gusto niya.

"M-Mom, I'm okay. I understand. Daddy is busy and he is tired. Let's go na lang po sa dining area. Mag-e-eat ka pa po," he softly said and then neared me. He held my hands with his little ones and then dragged me to the dining area.

The collaboration did very well that's why the business of my husband's family survived and he became the CEO. While our company was still supporting them just like how I supported him. Do secret papers to help the company as well.

  • Tears of the Unwanted Wife   Chapter 6: Argument

Ava's POV"Do you want to play anak?" ngiting tanong ko kay Altar. He looked.. sad."Mom, you're tired. I saw you working po kanina sa room niyo," he said softly while his eyes were in his toys. "You saw me working?" Kaya ba parang may bumukas at sumira ulit ng pinto? Am I really that busy that I didn't notice that my son was there? "Opo. I was about to ask you po if you're done eating your lunch but I saw a tray on your table po kaya hindi na po 'ko nag-continue pumasok po," he responded and then looked up at me. He smiled again but it didn't reach his cheeks."Bakit parang sad ang baby ko?" Lumuhod ako sa harapan niya and I guided his chin so that he could look at me more. "P-Po? Hindi naman po ako sad eh," he cutely said with blown cheeks. I smiled sweetly because he was showing me that he was already matured. "Anak, you know that Mom do

  • Tears of the Unwanted Wife   Chapter 4: Punishment

It was when the marriage night ended and we were both caged in the room prepared by our parents. I didn't know that it was their idea but I was accused by him for making such a scheme."Do you think I will fall for your tricks, huh?" he coldly muttered and then neared me. He tightly held my jaw that made me groan so painfully because of the pain. "I-I didn't know what you were talking about! I already fell on this fucking trap and I will make sure

  • Tears of the Unwanted Wife   Chapter 3: Smile I Never Had

Ava's POV As soon as I stepped into the bar, the changing lights from the disco ball hit me. The bouncers didn’t ask me anything because they already knew I was friends with the owner. I just shook my head because the place was still packed with people.. it’s a famous bar, after all. This wasn’t my first time here. Even before I got married, I used to come here often with Eva and other friends. Inside, the music was loud, and the lights flashed in colors of red, blue, and green, making the crowd move like a wave. The air was thick with laughter, chatter, and the clinking of glasses. The bouncers, big and serious, just nodded at me as I walked past, no questions asked. They knew me, and I felt a little proud of that. The bar was always full, night after night, with people dancing, drinking, and having fun. It was a popular spot in the city, and everyone wanted to be here. I looked around and saw familiar faces.. people I had met before, some I had shared stories with. I remembered th

  • Tears of the Unwanted Wife   Chapter 2: Wind He Couldn't Even Feel

Ava's POV The first time I met Al in a short distance, my heart nearly stopped beating. I will never forget how his cold eyes looked at me, the very first time he saw me. I didn’t know what to do especially since I couldn’t find my voice in that unexpected moment. Our families had arranged a meeting at a restaurant, a gathering meant to discuss business but I didn’t understand a single thing or any of it. I just sat there, staring at Al, who didn’t say a single word. He looked down at his food, then after a while, he started looking at his phone, scrolling as if the world around him didn’t matter. The restaurant was full of chatter, the clinking of glasses and plates, and the murmur of conversations between our parents. They talked about deals and partnerships, terms and numbers that sounded foreign to me. I was lost in that world but my focus was on Al. His eyes were like ice, distant and cool and they made me feel nervous and shy. I wanted to say something to break the silence but

  • Tears of the Unwanted Wife   Chapter 1: Her and Him

Ava's POV I thought life as a spouse would be easy, especially when you love your partner so much. I thought everything would change as days, months, and years passed. I thought I would learn everything by doing all I could just to be seen and loved. I thought life would be happy, especially living under one roof together. But it was all just my imagination. In the early days, I dreamed of a life shared with my beloved, a home filled with laughter and warmth. I believed love would smooth every rough edge, that time would heal and transform all our flaws. I gave my all trying to please, to be noticed, to be cherished thinking that effort alone would make everything perfect. But until now, I still don't know. Days turned into months, months into years, and the house we lived in became a place of quiet moments and small fights. The love I thought would be a bright flame flickered sometimes and I realized that marriage is not just a fairy tale. It is a journey of patience, of learning
