Edward laughed out loud before he replied, "Poisoned? That's impossible."

"Where did this happen?" I probed, ignoring the comment of that Edward guy.

"In the kitchen. But our caretaker had already cleaned up the scene," Jaika blubbered.

Arya suddenly touched me and then she whispered to me, "I have this feeling that the old steward was the white lady and she killed their sister."

"Quiet down, Arya. They could still hear you," I whispered to her.

"Why would the house keeper clean the area immediately? She's hiding something," she trailed off.

At least she had a point, but their caretaker was too old and it would be impossible for her to hurt someone. But who knows?

Arya suddenly approached Jaika which surprised us all. Even Mrs. Roque was also alerted.

"Jaika! Are you cosplaying?" she chortled.

"Yes. How did you find out?"
