Chapter 4(my arrogant boss)

Okay, I’ll seduce this ass-hat and eventually use this scandal to my benefit,’ I resolved, more determined than ever to teach this pretty boy Damon a lesson…

Or wait! Better still.... I’ll make him fall in love with me, and make him want me on his own accord and then Mrs stone gets her scandal and I’ll leave him with nothing, heart broken at my mercy.’ I pondered as I slowly paced back and forth the large working space in my office.

I was flared up now

No one gets to make me feel less or insignificant,’ now enraged ‘I don’t get why he felt the need to embarrass me like that,’ still puzzled and trying to make it all make sense.

I was just simply looking at him…, well I admired him a bit, but he was obviously looking at me too, come on…he was the only person in the room of course I’m gonna look at him, jeez’ the hell

I really don’t care anymore, screw this…I’m gonna do it anyway, I have nothing to loose…,

Besides, I have to get married to a rich man to be able to afford the comfortable life my mother always wanted for me.

I just have to act all nice and cute around him and soon enough, I’ll have him wrapped around my pretty little pinky.’ I paused with a sly smile now on my face.

The game is on, and he’s in for a real treat, cause now I’ll get to show him who the real boss is around here… when I’m done with him, he’ll wish he’d never met me,’ I walked over to my desk to take a seat smiling sinisterly ‘I’ll make him fall so hard and so bad that standing wouldn’t even be option anymore’

“Good evening mr Damon, how was your meeting sir?” I said immediately I saw mr Damon walking out the company’s complex

“It went very well Miss Steve…, I don’t remember asking to meet up here so what are you doing here? …are you here to do some more explaining or do you want to submit your resignation letter?” He reply nonchalantly with an air of arrogance, clearly not in the mood to see me.

I chuckled lightly “Not at all sir, I wouldn’t want to leave without a fight now, aye… I’m sure so many people would jump at a chance to get the position I occupy in your prestigious company, I’d rather hold onto it a while longer” I countered snarkily “I just wanted to say hi properly since we started off on the wrong foot, you know…clear up any misunderstan…..”

“There’s a lot of work mapped out for you tomorrow, report to my office 7am sharp”,he rudely cuts in on me, obviously uninterested in what ever I had to say to him…as he exits the building not even sparing me a second glance.

“Have a good night sir!”, i yelled after him as I watched him leave the building,I could swear that he was avoiding to look at my face…

I’m gonna get you mr arrogant and you’re gonna beg for me… I shook my head at how crazy I sound while smiling to myself.

I’ve always been a proficient actress and what better time to put my skills to the test than now.

I have innocent beautiful face and an amazing body, he’s a man, all I need to do is flirt a little and be efficient in doing my job, which would make me indispensable and so enough he’ll come crawling to clear things up.

“Good morning Naomi, you look really bright today, d’you sleep well?”

I nodded frantically, with a huge grin on my face…I’m pretty sure he was weirded out of his mind at how insane I looked just now while nodding

“I thought you won’t be back today, seeing how you left yesterday really downcast after meeting with the boss”, Daniel blurted out, shocked to see Naomi so ecstatic and energetic like a bull on testosterone.

“Good morning Daniel,and why would I do that?…this has been my dream job since college, so I’m just very glad to be working as a secretary to the CEO”I just replied with a believable hearty smile.

You just wait till I’m done with him,’ I muttered to myself still smiling

“Okay, am actually glad to hear this… love the energy….but just to put it out there, so you can understand the boss a bit. I’ve been working with him since he became the CEO, we’ve been here for two years and I’ve noticed that he’s not exactly okayy or settled with having ladies around him,due to the tragic loss of his mother. Just be patient with him and you will be fine”

“Thank you Daniel. I’ll keep that in mind”.I replied while taking down mental notes

I too lost my dad or rather he left me, but I don’t go around treating men like shit or chasing all the boys away while acting cold and really aggressive towards them,’

That’s no excuse really, there are better ways to handle a loss and Damon just needs to learn the hard way, maybe losing something valuable will teach him,’

I’ve never been this driven to do something this sinister before,but I’ll do it anyway, cause the heck? I was wearing very light natural makeup today, just to accentuate my look and facial features, my outfit was pretty flattering to as it brought out my hourglass figure,I wore a semi short skirt today, it’s not skimpy inappropriate short, but just short enough to flaunt my long legs just a bit above my knees, then I topped it off with a long sleeve turtleneck blouse that I tucked into my cute little skirt cause I’m modest like that,’ wink,wink

And here goes nothing

‘Good morning mr Damon,’I greeted as I entered into his office after knocking lightly in the door.

“Morning miss Steve. These are your co-workers from the sales and finance accounting department and I want you to work on their records from 2years ago” Damon responded quickly to naomi’s greeting whilst doing a once over at her and noticed something different in her appearance.

Why the hell does she look so familiar…he thought

and is that makeup on her face? She looked plain yesterday but today’s she looks a little extra and who know she’d have such a nice shape under the hideous outfit she wore when we first met. …wait, Is she showing off to Daniel?he’s clearly puzzled at this point

Well, apparently Daniel is quite a catch but, I just don’t wanna ever see any cuddling around me. I haven’t been in a relationship for a long while now and I tend to keep it that way.

“Ok sir”, I answered when I noticed mr grumpy face avoiding my gaze purposefully after our first glance. I may have to intensify my efforts, but there’s still a lot of time, so no pressure.

“Hi miss Steve” one of the two ladies piqued excitedly as we all walked out of the boss’ office

“Hi, please call me Naomi” i replied with a brilliant smile

“It’s nice to meet you,I’m Nora and she’s Sophie” the lady with the beautiful curly dirty blonde hair chirped as she gestured to the ginger haired friend

“Great, so I’ll be needing a copy of every of your records from two years ago. I can come with you now to get them” I replied the ladies as we walked towards the elevator.

“That won’t be necessary, I will send you a copy after we’ve sort it out. You don’t need to stress about it”, Nora replied in return

“I heard you resumed yesterday, how’s it like working this close to the boss and how is he like?”, Sophie asked quickly not being able to hold her excitement in.

“Uhm... It’s okayyy and like you said I just resumed, so I don’t really know anything about him”, I was surprised by her question and chuckled involuntarily.

It seems I’m not the only one on a quest to get the boss’ attention, but clearly our motives are different.

I mean, he is good looking after all, his physique is emaculate and he’s incredibly successful, I’m pretty sure everyone wants a piece of him, Naomi soliloquies with a lopsided smile on her face.

“Sophie!!” Nora harshly whispers as she scolds her colleague for being so unprofessional “why would you do that?…We are sorry naomi, don’t take this the wrong way,Sophie has been here for just a month and only gets to see the boss when he resumes for work so she was just curious to know about him”, Nora offered hoping naomi didn’t get a wrong impression about them.

“Oh no, It’s fine. I totally get it , we are all ladies come on,I really do understand, it’s nothing for to get all worked up about, I won’t say anything… I swear”, I asssured them with a smile not wanting to put them on edge

“Thank you very much and I’m sorry for asking such weird questions”, Sophie said to Naomi

“So we’ll see you around,…the company usually holds a welcoming ceremony rather an evening outing when someone new joins the company, so i guess we will get to meet up after work” Nora added

“Oh wow and I wasn’t told. Are you sure that’s gonna happen?”

“sure it will, it’s more like the company’s ritual, we have a get together after a new intake has been assigned a task to do, and I guessing this is your first assignment, so we will surely be holding a gathering tonight”, Nora said with a smile while waving Naomi off leaving with Sophie who was equally waving back too.

I could only think ‘it’s gonna be a long ass day for sure’
