Haydn’s pov

The moment I arrived at the execution site, I witnessed the most terrifying scene of my life.

My love, Bella, was about to be beheaded in the next second.

"No!" Aidan and I roared simultaneously.

Aidan swiftly accelerated, rushing to knock that damn blade away, shielding Bella with his body. Only when Bella's warm hand caressed my fur that my anxiety begin to ease.

But soon, I noticed her face and body were covered in wounds, weakened beyond measure. Damn it, who could have done this? My heart was filled with boundless anger and self-blame.
