Chapter 44

The Third Person's pov

Based on the events of the previous two nights, both Haydn and Bella recognized that night was a critical point in time when the curse would strike. So they intend to prepare in advance tonight to avoid risks. To prevent himself from hurting Bella, King Haydn decided to stay in different rooms with Bella. He would be locked in a room alone. Gray was in charge of guarding the door for the King.

Bella and Haydn finished their meal early, they ate normal food as Haydn had not yet lost his mind.

Outside the castle window, the last rays of sunlight were about to disappear, Haydn and Bella stood by the window, not looking relaxed, they both knew that tonight was going to be a very difficult time. Dark crows rested on the roof of the grand building, seeming to signal something ominous was about to happen

"Bella, I need to go back to my room alone now," Haydn kissed Bella's forehead, "Good night, sweet dreams and don't worry about me"
