“What is it, wifey!” He asked, blinking his shining eyes like a puppy, as if he had not done anything wrong.

“You should quit talking and let go inside before you get a cold!” I said, finally noticing that he was putting on his singlet. And what was he doing outside before?

He nodded like a child and followed me inside.

I sighed and made him sit down once we got inside. He must have pulled his clothes because they were stained with blood from my clothes. I sighed and smiled at him.

“I will get you a cup of coffee to ease the cold!” I said only to remember that he wasn't cold earlier; he was boiling instead.

“Do you want to go and shower first?” I asked him, and he nodded, but my heart felt uneasy as he nodded.
