Chapter 22.

Laura's POV.

I was scared when I entered the cafeteria, it felt like the world stopped and suddenly all eyes were on me.

Holding my head high didn't stop me from being nervous, I gripped my hands tightly, I turned to Dean who just smiled, it felt like he was used to this, but I wasn't, I was so terrified, my wolf was alert, and restless, we didn't like the attention in anyway.

What made it worse was the way Dean walked ahead, and I had to join him passing everyone and receiving their stares. It was very unnerving. I wanted to turn away and run, but I knew that'd be more embarrassing, they would realize how weak I am.

I swallowed the following Dean. I didn't know where he wanted to sit, but all I wanted now was to just sit down and pretend they didn't just stop eating and stare at me like I was the moon goddess visiting the pack.

I heaved a sigh of relief when Dean stopped at the table he wished to seat, it was at the top, close to where the food was.
