Fuck. How was I going to explain to my parents and the rest of the guest, who Alpha Moon was. It was a good thing that I distracted everyone, so Mona could leave. Even if I did it to protect her, which made me feel disgusted by myself. Maybe it was Ronin’s influence.

“Don’t blame me. But thank you for helping her.”

Thank you? I think that was the first nice thing Ronin had said in years.

When we couldn’t find Mona, me and my parents went to talk to Alpha Paul. I really needed to find a quiet place to tell them about Mona now, before they found out on their own.

“Did you see her? I can’t believe the nerve she has.” he said.

I shook my head, no, hoping he wouldn’t tell them more.

“Actually, Alpha Paul. Could I borrow your office for a moment? I need to tell my parents something about Alpha Moon.”

Alpha Paul seemed to get what I was saying and he walked with us to his office. I wanted to tell my parents first, I would tell Beta Norman later. I didn’t know how I was going
