I blinked simultaneously trying to make sense of what I was seeing. Was it a trick of the light, or something more sinister? I glanced back at Rona, who seemed unaware of the mirror's strange reflection. She appeared worn out as if she had been drained of her vitality.

Doubt nagged at me, but I pushed it aside. I trusted the woman in the mirror, despite the unsettling encounter between her and Rona. There was a greater purpose at play, and I needed to focus on unraveling the mysteries that surrounded me.

With a deep breath, I tore my gaze away from the mirror and approached Rona. Placing a comforting hand on her shoulder, I smiled weakly. "Are you alright, Rona?" I asked, concerned about lacing my voice.
