Bryain’s POV:

The air hung heavy with smoke and the sharp, scent of blood.

The sound of growls, metal clashing, and snarling wolves echoed across the ruined courtyard, my chest burned, adrenaline flooding every vein…Lucas and his warriors had come, and this was no ordinary fight…it was chaos incarnate.

I climbed onto a toppled stone pillar, scanning the battlefield, my warriors were scattered, some bleeding, some screaming, some already dead.
