LOGINALEXIA
Probably sensing it was getting difficult for me to keep up with his pace, the urgent and hungry way he kissed me slowed, allowing me to breath for a couple of seconds before he picked up the pace once more. My hands left his shoulders to grip his biceps instead, digging my nails into his arms as pleasures consumed me.
Oh my God! I’m kissing Alpha Killian, who has made it clear that he didn’t want me here! The implication of what that meant slammed into me like a force of nature. Despite not wanting him to stop, I didn’t know where I mustered enough self-control to push him off me, wrenching my lips from his before things got further than it has already.
Panting heavily, he blinked making me blush. Lowering my gaze, after what just happened I didn’t know what to say or do except that things had gotten way out of control! Why did he kiss me? I shoved the question out of my mind before it caused me to leap into any conclusion.
“Damnit!” He hissed under his breath, turning his back on me for a moment before veering around a second later to glare at me. I shivered at the cold look in his eyes, taking a couple of steps back as he advanced toward me, a predatory look in his eyes.
I stopped as my back collided with the door, the same door he had me pressed against a few minutes ago. “I…” I stopped, having no idea what to say.
“This!” He gestured harshly between us, as reference to the kiss. “Never happened and if you tell anyone about this…” he didn’t finish his statement, he didn’t need to. The implication of the doom his threat carried hung over my head, causing me to flinch a little.
“Of course.” My voice quivered and I hated how scared I was of him but I couldn’t help it, he had the ability to crush me and get away with it!
"Leave!" Colour drained from my face at his words and I didn’t need to be told twice before hurrying out of the too. My knees buckled as I walked back to the cafeteria, Raven was standing by the entrance, her eyes filled with concern. I fell against her and she quickly reached out to grab my weight before I made it to the floor.
“You seemed pretty shaky, are you okay?” She inquired, leading me back to our table. Aware of the curious eyes on us, she growled at them, making most of them quickly avert their gaze while others stared stubbornly on.
I opened my mouth but Alpha Killian threats started echoing in my mind, causing my mouth to snap shut immediately. I didn’t want to keep this from her despite his warning, I mean I just had my first kiss or had it stolen from me by a psychopath but it was really a good kiss…although I have no experience to compare it with. I blinked when Raven snapped her fingers across my face, jolting me out of my day-dreaming.
Also has someone who values the truth, I hate lying and being lied to and beside she isn’t just anyone so that doesn’t count. “Promise me you won’t freak out about what I’m about to tell you.” I leaned closer to her as I darted a quick look around to make sure no one was paying attention to us because that good lead to them eavesdropping and from what I’ve heard werewolves have super-hearing or whatever they call it.
She lets out a chuckle. "Freak out? I’m just glad you’re okay, Alpha Killian can be really unpredictable.”
“He kissed me!” I blurted out, pausing for her reaction. “But I’m not supposed to tell anyone because then he would really kill me.” I concluded, recalling the few minutes he had me pressed against the wall and kissed like he would die if he didn’t. Even if I had some experience to compare it with, I really doubt any experience would top that.
That guy could really kiss! I didn’t want him to stop, why the hell did I stop again? Oh right something about staying away from him and shit. I know it was the right thing to do, it doesn’t mean I wasn’t allowed to feel bad about it. I forced my attention back to Raven, only to see her gaping at me with shock written all over her face.
“Come again…” She finally spoke but in a small shock filled voice. “You mean Alpha Killian kissed you? He didn’t ask you to come with him so he could warn or threaten you?” She learned back into her seat. “I’m sorry, I’m just finding it hard to believe you right now, how did it happen?” I blushed at her question.
“Well, like how every normal kiss happens.” She smacked my hand playfully at my response.
“You know what I’m asking, give me details! I thought we were friends.” She pouted, distractedly playing with my fingers as she waited for me to start.
“Well, we were in the studio and he asked me to shut the door. I did and turned around to face him, it was then he pushed me back against the door and kissed me!” I explained, recalling the moment. “Fortunately, I came to my senses and put a stop to it, it shouldn’t have happened and now that it did, I can’t help but become more afraid of him.” I admitted.
“Wow! He kissed you and you were the one to end it? I pray for your kind of self-control because I would have let him do whatever he wants with me.” She throws her head back and laughs. “Just kidding, but really I don’t know whatever sick mind game he’s playing with you but now we’ve got to try extra hard to avoid him.”
I noticed she was getting distracted as her gaze moved toward the entrance. I was about to turn to see what she was looking at but she already dragged me down with her under the table. “She is heading right at us.” She informed me, as if that was supposed to explain why we were hiding under the table.
A pair of brown boots stopped at our table. “I could have sworn I saw her.” Came the girl’s voice, her tone held a lot of puzzlement but then Raven’s phone started ringing causing the girl to look underneath the table at us. “I knew you were hiding there before your phone gave you up.”
Letting out a sigh, Raven crawled out and I followed her, feeling silly and confused. I stared at the girl, who happens to be seated now. She had the same purple hair as Raven except that Raven’s only has purple highlights while she had a full blown purple short hair.
“Hiding under the table? What are you, four?” Her eyes finally moved toward me. “You’re hanging out with a human?” She jolts upright, the disgust on her face mirroring the one in her voice.
"What do you want?" Raven demanded instead, ignoring her remark about me.
“No wonder I have been getting dirty looks, my sister is hanging around the filthy human!” She sneered, now that she mentioned it, I noticed a slight resemblance. “Have you finally lost your mind?” She glared at me, like she knew it was my fault.
“Step-sister.” Raven corrected, rolling her eyes. “You shouldn’t make who I hang out with your business.” For whatever reasons, her sister smiled.
“I’m hanging out with Alpha Killian after school, I came to tell you not to wait up for me as I’ll be taking a ride with him instead. Isn’t that your business? I recall you had a thing for him, do you still?” She snickered, enjoying the way Raven’s eyes darkened in anger.
“What can I say? Except that I hope you enjoy being his new flavour for the week.” Now that made her furious.
“You just sound bitter.” Paying attention to me once more, she glared. “Stay away from my sister.” With that, she sashayed out of the cafeteria.
“I’m going to kill her!” Raven fumed, dropping back in her seat while I still couldn’t get past the fact that my new friend already has a crush on who I’m currently crushing on! Well, anyway it was doomed from the beginning and I was starting to wish I hadn’t told her about the kiss.
“I’m sorry.” I blurted out, causing her to stop trying to shove a huge cut of her burger into her mouth as she looked at me.
“I don’t think it’s going to go in.” I gestured toward the bite, resisting the urge to laugh.
She put it in a napkin and wiped her mouth. “What are you sorry for? Believe me you’ve done nothing wrong, Willow is naturally unpleasant, just ignore her.”
“Not about that but about Alpha Killian, if I knew you like him…” I trailed off, feeling my chest tightened.
“Oh that? I mean who doesn’t? I’m just like everyone out there, I like beautiful things. But a crush? I don’t think so, Zeke is more my type.” Pushing my hair angrily out of her face. “Willow is the bane of my existence, I hate her so fucking much! She goes out of her way to piss me off, hooked up with several of my boyfriends in the past, it’s okay though they were losers, imagine how hard it is living with her.”
"Wow, that bitch is evil!”
"Tell me about it." She responded, standing up at the sound of the bell. “I feel like ditching class but I can’t.” She leaned over, brushing a lock of my curls away from my face affectionately. “Remember to stay away from Alpha Killian and don’t mention the kiss to anyone or else the rest of your school year is about to turn hell.” She warned.
I also stood up. “No worries, I didn’t plan to do that.” I assured her.
“See you around!” She waved, hurrying down the hall to her next class, watching her go before pulling out my class schedule to see that I have a Luna and Alpha class!
My blood froze over, no! no! no! It’s obvious that the universe was working against me! Like please! I’m trying to stay away from the guy. Letting out a frustrated sigh, I stepped into the class-room, my heart beating fast as I looked around for somewhere to sit.
My life is officially over! I thought as Alpha Killian came in moments after I sat down!
ALEXIA “Hey!” Raven called, running after me. “Are you seriously going to lodge a complaint against the school? I’m asking because Alpha Damon hasn’t been seen in public for years, and he might not respond to you.” I stopped walking to respond to her. “I’m still going to try. My parents have some sort of relationship with him, I’m hoping that should count for something. I’m tired of walking around eggshells when I’ve done nothing but exist. This is beyond the principal so I’m taking it up with the Alpha Damon.” “Alright, just let me know if you need my support.” She replied, smiling at me. “Hey ladies,” Zeke appeared from nowhere, putting each of his hands around our shoulder. “Why weren’t you at the game? I was thinking you would be there.” “Please, don’t remind me of that. Leo’s still upset with me,” I responded, stepping out of his grasp. “Just because Killian isn’t going to be here for a while, doesn’t mean we can’t hang out, right?” He addressed me, releasing Raven from his
ALEXIA On Monday morning, I came to school early. I’d tried Leo’s number again on Sunday, but he was still ignoring me. Guess the weekend didn’t cool him off, huh? That aside, I had a wonderful weekend! Killian and I hung out before the Pack guards came to pick him up. While I have nothing against Mondays, I hate Mondays. People expect you to be overly serious, and if you aren’t, they are quick to point out it's Monday. I hate this particular Monday, probably because the fact that I let down a friend weighs me down heavily. I met Izzie waiting at the main entrance, thinking my day was about to be ruined further by her. I stopped walking for a second when I figured out the reason why she was waiting. “Although, I will never forgive you for what you did to me. Especially since you show no remorse for it, but I don’t want you touching my things. I no longer find you worthy.” I informed her, leaving her staring at me with a slightly open mouth. After dropping my back in my locker, I
ALEXIA I woke up from a deep sleep, gently removing Killian’s head from my lap, so I didn't wake him up. Downstairs, I could hear the front door opening, which might have been what woke me up. I didn’t plan on falling asleep, but after his fever dropped, I stayed a few more minutes to make sure he was truly okay. I must have fallen asleep between those minutes. However, as I stood up to close the drapes, I was stunned to see that it was dark outside. Panic stirred up inside me like a volcano that was about to erupt. Bending slightly to pick the banner I had dropped outside the door, I paused as my parents stepped into the house. As I hurried down the stairs, I checked my phone, seeing several missed calls from Leo… but mostly Raven. It wasn’t until I got to the front door that I stopped. It’s no use anyway, the game probably ended hours ago. “How was the game?” Mom asked, oblivious to the fact that I was silently freaking out. “I don’t know Mom, you know why? Because I never mad
FREYAI made to scoot over to where Claire was sitting but Jet stopped my movement by placing his hand on mine, I blushed and then settled beside him on the blanket."So Jet, what made you agree to go on a picnic this afternoon? Usually, you would rather work yourself to death" Claire said before looking at me briefly. "I think Freya is a good influence on you huh?" I could tell she was teasing by the tone of her voice and I waited for Jet to reply to what she said. He never did.A few minutes later she gave up trying to include everyone in a conversation since the only one who manage to contribute to it was me, we were almost half done with our meal when I heard a loud growl from not so far off distance, the scariest part was that it doesn't appear to belong to one wolf, the sound was too loud to belong to one animal, the time I saw Jet changed into human-made me shivered in fear. I don't think I want to see any more humans turn into wolves or vice versa."Fuck!" Jet cursed then jerk
ALEXIA Some hours later, I came out of my room, taking a temporary break from doing my assignment. Almost bumping into my mom as she raised her hand to knock on the door, just as I opened it. Surprised to see her all dressed up, I regard her with a playful expression. She purposely ignored the look I was giving her. “I will be gone for a couple hours, so don’t bother our guest unless he needs something. You also don’t have to be afraid of someone bursting into the house or anything, a few guards are secretly patrolling the area just in case something goes wrong.” Her last words made me slightly nervous. She never has to warn me about safety before until now. Does this mean the assassin knows his whereabouts? I shook my head, telling myself that if they do, Killian would be moved to another location in a heart beat. “Alright, have fun.” I waved her goodbye and returned to my bedroom. While it would seem like a good idea to check up on Killian after Zeke told me he was upset with m
ALEXIA The day after, I was still running away from Killian. But on the bright side, he stopped locking himself in the guest bedroom and joining us for dinner which makes avoiding him a lot harder. If my parents noticed anything weird— which I doubt, they didn’t comment on it.“You need to stop running from him, Alexia. It's just a crush.” Raven remarked, her tone indicates she’s trying not to laugh. Well, I’m glad at least one of us is finding this funny. Earlier this morning as I was getting ready to leave for school, Killian had knocked on my door asking to talk. In panic, I slammed the door in his face and didn’t leave until he did. Even after that, I fled from the house like I was being chased by a masked man or something. We stopped walking once we arrived at the open field, where most students are currently hanging out. We have thirty minutes of recess, which was exactly what I needed. Watching a group of cheerleaders practice their routine, I paused catching sight of a fami
