Jacks Chapter 4
After that walk, everything seemed to fall into place. Monica talked, and I listened. I spoke, and Monica listened. We became close friends and then lovers. Now, I can't picture my life without her in it. I know one day I will have to say goodbye, but I don't want that day to come anytime soon.
"Babe, are you here," Mon yells as she opens my office door, looking flushed.
"Yes, I told you I would be," I reply, standing up from my chair.
