ATHENA

I barely managed to get out of the house without getting caught by you know who. He practically followed me around all day and seeing him was the last thing I wanted to do after last night’s and this morning encounter.

“Where are you?” He asked as soon as I answered the phone. He probably just realized that I had left the pack house.

“Far from you.” I replied, my voice light and teasing. And I meant it, I needed to be as far away from him as possible. Seeing him brought back memories of what we did and I still couldn’t believe I had done all of that.

Technically it wasn’t my doing. I was on heat! But Aiden believes I wanted it. I mean why would he think that?

“Where’s exactly? And why would you leave without telling me?”

“You’re not the boss of me, and I’m not obligated to tell you my whereabouts.”

“Athena. Quit being stubborn and tell me where you are. I’ll come to you rig—-“
