Chapter 23

LILY POV

I’m so nervous. I really wish I wasn’t, but for some strange reason I’m more nervous than I’ve ever been.

I’ve fought against seven vamps on my own and won. I’ve fought against several wolves on my own and won. Hell, I had my first kill at age eleven. I was nowhere near this nervous for any of those, and they were life threatening!

Yet, one tiny date leaves me shaking in my boots. Literally, I’m shaking in my ankle boots.

I decided to actually put some effort into myself for this date. I’m wearing a dark purple dress. It’s so tight it shows off all of my curves. It’s material is scrunched and it cuts off mid-thigh. It has one strap that goes over my left shoulder. Next to the strap is another strap that’s an inch thick and white, with beads designing it.

I paired the outfit with my four inch heel ankle boots. My hair is hanging in loose curls with my bangs in a side French braid. My makeup is minimal going with a light purple eye shadow, liner, mascara, and a clear coat of li
