Chapter 13

I quietly left Alpha Cole's office, softly closing the door behind me. I was stunned by what had just taken place in there. As I turned away from the door, I caught the sight of one of the beasts down the hallway. It took me a moment to realize he was the same one who had led me up here. 

"Why was he here?" I wondered. 

As I looked at him, I took in his posture, he was leaning against the wall, and he did not look amused. Suddenly his eyes snapped to me. He had blonde hair, and blonde facial hair. I wouldn't call it a beard personally, to me it simply looked as though he hadn't shaved for a week or two. He was wearing black jeans, with boots and he had a black t shirt on. As I was observing him, he was doing the same to me, and I could tell by the look on his face, he did not like what he was seeing. 

"Good... you don't want him to like what he sees... you are not his!" the voice in my head reminded me.

"Follow me," Beta Chad bit out.
