69-No Kids

Luca’s POV

When I land back in Silver Creek, I grab a bottle of champagne and head to my Luna’s office. I’m wearing a Hawaiian shirt, white long dress shorts, boat shoes, and my aviator glasses. I have two glasses and I decide we need some fun. So, I grab my phone to play a song, I want to dance and seduce my mate. I find an oldie, but a goodie.

The beat starts a little Spanish then “Tonight, we dance,” ……”Nothing can stop us tonight”. “Bailamos”

Emmett is laughing, as I sing along to “Tonight, I’m yours.”

He stands up and we start dancing around his office.

“Tonight, we dance,”

I start kissing his neck and he is laughing at me. I’m half Hispanic, I have smooth moves. My mate he is from a mountain. Less smooth, zero rhythm. So, I lead.

“Nice, Babe,” he tells me, as the song ends.

I pour champagne. “We have zero children. For the next five weeks, we are not responsible for keeping younger versions of ourselves alive. We are empty-nesters, and we aren’t 40 yet.”

Emmett laughs harder. “O
