How so?

I lay still on the bed, with a part of me staring at my phone's screen and the other part at Emma, who lay still on the bed. She was still unconscious. It's been almost four hours since she became unconscious and yes, I was worried. I was worried that she might pass on to the world beyond.

As I fixed my gaze on her, I couldn't help but notice the swelling of her chest with every breath that she took. At least she was still alive. That alone took a part of my worry away.

I took my attention from her when a sudden urge to drink water came over me. I couldn't explain it because I wasn't thirsty one bit. I was hesitant to get up from where I was but the urge grew and grew until I couldn’t bear it no more.

A deep sigh escaped from my lips as I rose to my feet. I had barely gotten up when I noticed a toss on the bed. A frown etched on my face as I stared hard at the bed.

Was I hallucinating or did I really see Emma move on the bed? A few seconds of thought and I pushed it to the back of my
