"Thanks for the great work." Ley said with a nod full of approval to the old man.
Earlier, he vanished to circle the island, confirming if those giant sea creatures controlled by Fernando surrounded and secured all sides.
When he returned, in actuality, his gaze towards this person who just became his adoptive grandfather was mixed with apologies. He knew that in order to accomplish this feat, Fernando relinquished control of several other animals, which meant that more than half of the effort spent trying to build a reliable information network in the capital had gone to waste. The foundation of the information system was hurt, so was his source of faith energy since those countless tiny birds and land animals would naturally no longer have a strong belief in him. The freedom granted to these animals would gradually make them stray far away or forget about Fernando.
As for the large creatures that replaced them... Ley could see thro
Ley uttered some words addressed to the Goddess of the Sun and Dawn. However, he knew not to expect that he would be heard soon. The status of the Goddess was just too high and unimaginable for small fries like him. It was said that in the Skyworld, the number of inhabitants were a hundred times more than the current population of the Mortal Realm. As a major deity, there bound to be many believers calling out the Goddess' name every second. Meanwhile, he was but an Anito who was not truly a believer of Hanan. In actuality, the prayer, like to anybody who did this when faced with problems and dilemmas, was just a way to get some inner peace. On that day, Ley did not get a wink of sleep, nor did he try getting some. An Anito, if not without divine energy in them, could stay up for an entire month if they wanted to. This was why, he was not bothered, and when morning came, without people observing him carefully, they would not even notice the stress that coul
...While Ley was hesitant to voice out his fears about the nefarious way an Anito could speed up their ascension or increase of strength, the old man left to guard the island also had his own misgivings that he had been keeping to himself, worries that were eating away at his heart. Ever since Fernando learned that powerful deities from the Skyworld could descend to Earth, he started having doubts about whether all Skyworld gods could do the same...In the near future, would they awake to find themselves taken over by some random Skyworld gods too? When Hana's body was suddenly taken over by the Goddess of the Sun and Dawn, what process did they go through? Did Hana give her permission or was at least informed beforehand? The unknown was always the most evoking of fear. However, what he did not know was that he was only thinking too much about it. A being from the Skyworld could not easily descend and the only person they could take ove

When Hana's body was suddenly taken over by the Goddess of the Sun and Dawn, what process did they go through? ...It had taken Ley quite the mental fortitude to stay calm and collected as he boarded a taxi from the seaport of Manila to the bungalow. Several hours already passed since he left the island. The lights all around the city were already flashing to give illumination to every person still not yet home. Throughout the more than an hour drive, Ley remained seated on the backseat with his eyes closed, listening to the prayers and grumblings of people calling out his name. At the same time, he was very alert to any suspicious event in his surroundings. When he was only a kilometer away from the bungalow, he opened his eyes. His face and gaze remained placid. As he drew nearer to the place, he began to feel the unusual aura that was emanating from the house.'The Goddess visited this residence first?' he guessed....A/N: author is still ill, though I'm already feeling a bit better. Tomorrow, I'll definitely upload a full update

He slightly furrowed his brows.Ley could sense Hana's presence. However, it also felt unfamiliar to him. Like it belonged to somebody entirel
...'Hana's aura is gentle and warm. Now, although this aura is still warm, it could not be denied that it is also extremely domineering, like a sun that refuses any fleeting cluster of clouds to eclipse it.'"Where to drop you off here?" asked the driver.Ley was knocked out of his stupor by the taciturn voice.Turning his head to the middle-aged man looking at him through the mirror, he thought for a moment before he said, "It's okay. Here is fine."He pointed at the waiting shed right next to the gate. There stood a guard in charge of the security of the village, looking at him as he climbed out of the backseat of the cab. After helping the driver closed the car door, he nodded at the guard, showing no credentials since his face was already familiar to the other. It was just like after having lived in the community for several months, the guard's facial features had also become familiar to him.As expected,
Most of the time, people were careful about the wrong things while outside, watching out for road signs and slopes, checking for dangerous turns or any annoying roadblocks. Yet at times, they tend to be neglectful of the expressions of those they might come across.People tend to ignore the fact that road accidents were not always about cars colliding against one another or bumping into a tree. It was also not only about a ghost popping out of nowhere. Sometimes, it was simply the types of people one met in the streets. T
...Ley did not really let his guard down, even for a second. Even when he was saying those words to the girl, he was still alert and mindful of his surroundings. More than anyone else, he knew that he was in danger, just as every other member of the House. However, the blow that struck him when he was exiting the hospital ward was complete
