            I glared at the wolves crowded around my desk. Zane had brought Selene, Alistair, and Rory as commanded. Victoria had tagged along, eager to start some new assignment she had been given by my mate. I wanted answers. There was a reason that Maggie had fled the safety of the pack with her children and I suspected one of the three I had summoned knew what it was.
