Hera POV

When the meeting ends with Mason suggesting he has a plan to exit peacefully, I carry Lily in my arms and step out.

I didn't expect Mason to make such a bold move. It's dangerous and risky but it feels right. He is choosing Lily and I over the life he has built for half his life.

I am happy but most importantly, I am proud of him.

I can tell that the crew is devastated by his exit. It's understandable, he has been their leader since the club started. I have to admit that choosing Zero to take over as the VP was the best decision he made for them.

Zero is capable, sometimes I feel like he is even better than Mason but in his own ways.

I watch as Fiona walks out ahead of everyone else, looking dejected.

She didn't have much reaction to Mason leaving the club. For someone who has pinned over Mason for so long, j expected her to flop off or say something crazy. Nothing like that happened. Her mother's disappearance seems to have shaken her.

I don't know if I should curse this wicked fate or comfort Chloe who has been crying nonstop since we found out what happened to the couple. Then there's the club, left under my care weighing heavily on me. Everyone is looking up to me to find Hera and Mason, hoping that I can give them good news.     Third person POV The once quiet gazebo erupted in cheers and claps as Mason slipped the ring onto Hera's finger. As they cheered, Mason and Hera remained lip locked, as if the presence of the others didn't bother them one bit.Nyx was the first to reach them with Lily bouncing in her arms, her eyes wide and grinning from ear to ear with excitement.
