Let's Do Some Crazy Stuff

“Hey Ari, I guess you are done with the day.” Ariana was greeted by Tristan's handsome face the moment she came out from her last class.

“Tristan, what are you doing here? Didn't you say you have practice to do with your teammates?” Ariana asked him with a smile.

She was startled to see Tristan there waiting for her. They only met in the morning, but it feels like they've known each other for a very long time.

“Well, yeah, I went there, but guess what?” Tristan said and wiggled his eyebrows at her.

“Stop it already, will you? And for your information, I'm not good at guessing. So, you better spit it out already.” Ariana said and chuckled at him.

They both started walking down to the school gate.

“Okay, fine. I went there, but I was missing my best friend already, so I thought of coming to see her early.” Tristan said dramatically, making Ariana burst into laughter.

“Oh, Tristan, I never knew you have this sense of humor in you,” Ariana said, still laughing.

“Oh, trust me, babe, I have plenty of things you have no idea about. But don't worry, you will eventually find out. But for now, I have a gift for you.” Tristan said and stopped walking to give Ariana all his attention.

Ariana looked at him with confusion. “What kind of gift? And why would you even give me a gift?” She said with a faint smile.

“Ouch, that hurt my poor heart Ari, you are so mean,” Tristan said and dramatically feigned hurt.

Ariana laughed at his actions but stopped laughing when Tristan handed her a brand-new phone.

“Here is my gift for you. I've saved my number on speed dial too. I saved it BFF, by the way.” Tristan said with a shrugged and pocketed his hands in his trousers.

Ariana was speechless, looking at the phone in her hands.

“Tristan, how did you get this? When did you get this? I mean, why will you buy a phone for me? How much is it?” Arian asked him several questions in one go.

“Chill babe, I didn't go out of the school premises, I simply asked my fiancé to get it for me. So, he bought it and send it to me here in school a while ago.

And don't worry about the price, my fiancé is wealthy, you know. He can buy me the whole City if I want him to.”

Tristan said proudly. He interrupted Ariana, who was about to protest.

“And hell no, baby, you can't reject it. I gave it to you because, well, I want to have you as the sister I never had. So, you can consider me as your brother and best friend at the same time.” Tristan said with his sweet smile showing his white front teeth.

Ariana teared up as she looked at him. She didn't know where that courage came from, she threw herself at Tristan and hugged him as she cried.

Tristan chuckled and hugged her back. “There, there, it's okay, baby girl. Don't be a cry baby.” he cooed her for some time before they broke their hug.

Ariana sniffed and wiped her face with the back of her hand. “ I'm not crying, something fell in my eyes.” She said with a sniff.

Tristan chuckled at her lame excuse before teasing her. “ Yeah, yeah, I know. You weren't crying, something fell into your eyes.”

“Stop it already, will you,” Ariana said and chuckled at herself.

"Now guess what, it's already 5:00 pm. Let's go crazy today, what do you think?” Tristan said and looked at her happily and hopefully.

“Crazy, like how? I haven't checked the phone you bought for me yet.” Ariana said as she wiggled the phone box on his face.

“You don't need to worry about that, Ari. Why don't you live for yourself just once? Let's do everything you've ever wished to do but couldn't. We can go to any place you would like to visit, do things you would want to do… Like crazy kinds of stuff, you know.”

Tristan tried persuading her. Ariana thought for a while before she agreed to him. Indeed, she has never lived once for herself except for her name.

Tristan grinned as he took Ariana's hand and ran out of the school compound.

They took a taxi after Ariana told him the places she wanted to go.

Ariana was more than happy to have a crazy friend like Tristan. She promised to cherish their friendship as long as she lives.

Without their knowledge, Aria had been around them all this while.

She saw how Ariana and Tristan were smiling at each other in the morning, and it did nothing but anger her.

She decided to keep her eyes on them until they closed from school.

Not only that, but she saw them at the school gate after school and immediately hide just around the corner to listen to their conversation, which did nothing but anger her more.

Now, when she saw them taking a taxi, Aria also took a taxi and tailed them. She wanted to know what those two were up to as if it were her concern.

At Nicholas's Office...

“Sir, please, we have a problem.” His secretary Grace said as her body shook.

“What is it Grace? What happened?” Nicholas asked, not liking the way she was behaving.

“It's Miss Becky, she is here to see you. I told her you are busy, but started causing a commotion.” Grace made sure to choose her words correctly.

Nicholas frowned upon hearing that name. “Ask the security to throw her out of this building now,” Nicholas said coldly to his secretary.

“Let's see who the hell can throw me out of this building.” Becky burst Nicholas's office door open and said.

“What the fuck do you think you are doing here, Rebecca Jackson?” Nicholas stood up from his seat and walked to her angrily.

Grace wanted to leave the cold office as soon as possible. But she stood there since she hasn't been permitted to leave.

“Ouch, Nicky, that's hurt. I mean, your words hurt me.” Becky said sarcastically and took a seat.

Nicholas then saw Grace shivering on her feet. He massaged his forehead and ordered her to leave.

Grace heaved a big sigh of relief the moment she was out of the chilling office. All the old employees know the kind of relationship between their Boss and Becky.

Nicholas dated Becky three years ago. He was really fond of Becky until she cheated on him.

Nicholas broke up with her after witnessing her having sex with someone else. He started hating women since then. According to him, love never exists.

Becky came to his office several times after their breakup and caused numerous commotions until Nicholas sued her.

Since then, Becky never bothered Nicholas again and even left the country.

But who would have thought that she would return after three years?

“Come on Nicky, I've been outside this country for years now. Don't tell me you don't miss me?” Becky said with her pretentious sexy tone and walked toward Nicholas.

She started moving her hands on Nicholas's chest, thinking that seducing him will work.

But to her, utter surprise, Nicholas yanked her hands from his chest and shoved her away from his body.

Becky stumbled back and nearly fell. “NICHOLAS!!!” She shouted his name in anger and dashed forward to him.

However, Nicholas's office door suddenly opened, revealing a scowling Abigail.

Abigail didn't say anything when she entered. She simply took Becky's hand and dragged her out of his brother's office.

Nicholas heaved a sigh after Becky was taken away by Abigail.

He heard Becky scream and shout outside his office.

Nicholas went back to his seat and immersed himself in his work again.

The time went by without Nicholas even realizing it. He didn't even realize it when his sister entered his office.

“Nicky, it's time to go home now,” Abigail said, gaining his brother's attention.

“Can you go home first? I made plans with Eric. I don't think I will come home early tonight.” Nicholas raised his head and said to his sister softly.

The only people who can get a soft voice from him are his grandparents, his stepmother, his younger sister Abigail and his best friend Mike. The rest can go to hell as long as they want.

Abigail smiled at him and nodded. “Alright then, I know Auntie is going to freak out, though.” She said with a chuckle.

“I will call and inform her,” Nicholas assured her.

Abigail agreed and went to him and pecked his cheek before she left his office.

Nicholas checked his wristwatch, and it was already 7:00 pm.

He fished out his phone out. and called Mike.

“Hello, my love… Right on time boy, I've been waiting for your call since Genesis,” Mike said sarcastically over the phone.

“I'm done with work now, where do you want us to go?” Nicholas said curtly, not minding he just called him sweetheart.

“Don't worry, bro, I'm coming for you now… And before you complain, I know you have your car, but I still want us to ride together.” Mike said over the phone as he stood up to get his car keys.

“Whatever… just make sure to be here within 10 minutes,” Nicholas said, instructing him.

“So cold, I will be there in a jiffy. Bye baby.” Mike said and chuckled before he finally hung up.

Nicholas shook his head after the call was cut. One thing he loves about Mike is that he's jovial. Mike always knows how to light up Nicholas's mood.

Soon enough, Mike's car pulled over in front of Nicholas's office.

Nicholas hopped into his car as he was already waiting for him at the entrance.

“Whooaahhh… Here we come to enjoy the night. We are the fucking real bachelors.” Mike shouted as they drove off.

He even opened his car music volume to the highest standard.

Nicholas just laughed at his childish behavior as they drove off to only God knows where.
