Chapter 11: An unwanted visitor

The streets shone bright with lights that dazzled every corner we turned, we were greeted with a beehive of activities, the city was alive before our very eyes.

I never pictured myself in the streets of Paris with Shawn Blackwell… never in a thousand years, but when he suggested we go on our honeymoon, I thought to myself….

What could go wrong?!

To be honest at first I thought he was completely crazy, but when he explained the reason behind the plan to me, I just had to do it.

I had never left the borders of our little town, the succor it provided was a comfort I was not ready to let go of…. Until Shawn came into my life.

Strangely though we walked the street with our hands interlocked, hearts giddy from the amazing sight before us, apparently the city of love brought out something in us I never knew existed.
